Die For You

The sun peers through the window of the master bedroom causing Robin's eyes to squint with disdain.

She isn't ready to wake up. She isn't ready to face the world after the bullshit that happened last night but alas her body is awake so she's awake.

She gently hold on Rain as she slowly gets up from the chair and places him in his crib

After greeting home, Robin took a shower. Trying to wash away the pain she felt from Dino's words. She scrubbed like it would erase the damage but all she did was get sore. She still had a broken heart so held Rain to help mend it.

She's only been married for three months and it's already going to shit. Is it really her fault?

Sighing, she checks her phone just in time to see Shanelle calling the group chat. Answering the FaceTime, Robin places the phone in the holder as she brushes her teeth and washes her face.

She hears groans from her babes, letting her know that most are hungover from last night.

"Well I found my husband"

"He was lost?" Robin asks in slight confusion. She opens her phone to see missed messages of the group chat and then another from Aurora

"Yup. He and Dino are in jail."

"For what?" Bron sits up a little as she asks

"Bar fight at the party last night"

"Oh that's nice," Robin responds absentmindedly as she texts Aurora back. The girls look at Robin, blankly

"What?"

"Don't say that"

Robin rolls her eyes and walks to her closet

"I really don't care. I have to get ready for my brunch date"

"It's not with 'you know who' is it?"

"Aurora and Scarlett"

"Robin, I know you-"

"Don't. I have to get ready. I'll talk to y'all later"

Robin hangs up before the girls can respond. She isn't trying to be rude, she just doesn't want to deal with any part of Dino at the moment.

She looks for an outfit for brunch, deciding on a green blazer, biker shorts and heels. She's making sure she stays in a good mood today

Dino sits in the holding cell with his head in his hands. He rubs circles on his temples trying to relieve the headache from drinking too much.

Why? Is the question that sits at the forefront of his brain. Last night did not go how he wanted it to go and he's trying to think of a good reason as to why

The door clanks as an officer opens it. Everyone in the cell looks up, expectantly

"Your Majesty. Maathai. You're free to go"

Marquise and Dino look at each other before getting up and following the officer to the front. Confusion graces Dino's features as he wonders why the hell Marquise is locked up in the first place

But then again, he's king of Cordonia not the USA

Marquise stops on his tracks and Dino looks up to see Shanelle looking at them. Marquise slightly pushes Dino in front of him, trying to hide from the wrath of his wife.

"Love of my life," he starts, shakily

"Nope. Marquise, get in the car"

The king wants to protest but thinks better of it. Like a dog with his tail between his legs, Marquise walks to the car with his head down.
