"HAIDER KHAN" his voice boomed in the room causing Haider's eyes to widen as he immediately stood up and pulled Ali in front of him

Haider cursed his fate for being so bad 'Allah please mujahy bacha lein pakka agle pure do din Irum ko nahi dantun ga bs please aj bacha lein'

"HAIDER KHAN IDHAR AO" his voice was very loud causing everyone else in the house except Hamza, Irum and Maheen to barge into the room...

"Baba kya hua ha?" Hassan asked his father who was glaring at the person behind Ali

"Do minute chup raho ya bahir chale jao" They all flinched and stood quietly

"Haider khud idhar aa jao kyun ke agar mein laya na tumhe yaha to acha nahi ho ga" Haider gulped

He took a deep breath and moved in front of Aghajaan maintaining a safe distance with his head hung low

"Kya bakwas kar rahe the tum abhi? Kya Hua ha hamza ko?" he questions making others frown

"Agha... Aghajaan Wo... Woh" he trailed off not being able to form words

"Woh woh kya lagay hua ha Haider... Kya soch kar tumne itni bari baat chupai hum se... Kya hamar koi haq nahi yeh Jan ne ka ke hamara bacha kitni taqleef se guzar raha ha, kya apke maa baap ka koi haq nahi ha" he scolded harshly in a loud voice

Hiader so wanted to cry but he kept reminding himself that he is 24 not 4

"Abbu Hamza ko kya hua ha?" Aghajaan looked at Fatima

"Puchein ap apne bete sa" he softly replied, it was not his daughter-in-law that he was talking to or his son's wife but in fact, he was talking to Hamza's mother...

"Batao Haider kya hua ha mere bacche ko" Haider looked into her eyes and his heart broke seeing the tears

He walked closer to her and embraced her "Mama please roi nahi"

She did not reply but broke the hug and held his shoulders "Batao Haider" her voice was icy cold sending shivers down Haider's spine

"Ma... Mama" he again couldn't manage to say anything

"Haider mujhay aik second nahi lage ga apko zor dar thapar marne mein is liye chup chao batao" Saad and Zayan who were standing behind her flinched due to the harshness in her voice

"Mama Hamza ko COPD ha" Her grip on Haider's shoulders loosened as the tears in her eyes fell one after the other

"Mama" haider tried to hold her hand but she backed off and shook her head "Kab se pata the apko yeh baat"

"d... do mahine" Haider's face jerked to his right as he received a tight slap from Aghajaan

Hassan held Fatima and took her out as she was in no position to stay in the room... He knew his father would toe haider back to the line

"boht afsos hua ha mujhay Haider... Ap se yeh ummed nahi thi" Aghujaan said before leaving to room angrily dragging Haseeb with his ear

"Koi explanation ha apke pas" Aghajaan questioned in a broken tone making Haider feel even more guilty

Getting no reply from haider he was about to leave but Haider held his hand

"sorry" he mumbled Aghajaan smiled "Koi baat nahi"

"Ap punish nahi karein ga" he questioned

"Nahi punish unko kiya jata ha jinse narazgi ho, narazgi apnon se hoti ha aur apne kabhi batein nahi chupate" haider looked at him with teary eyes
