Jesse's P.O.V
We hear the bell ring and she closes her locker door. Then she starts walking to class.
Jesse- Wait...
(Y/N)- What?
Jesse- Uh, wait for me to catch up.
I hold her hand. We go into class. Then sit down next to each other. I was watching (Y/N) every second of class not hearing a word that the teacher said. I only snapped out of my trance when I heard the bell ring.
Teacher- Class dismissed.
(Y/N)'s P.O.V
As soon as class was dismissed I was pulled to the side by Lily.
Lily- Is something going on between you and Jesse?
(Y/N)- No, we're doing really well. Why?
Lily- He's been staring at you ever since you two walked in here and sat down. He's still watching.
I look back and see him staring at us.
(Y/N)- He's just... distracted. Something happened earlier. He must still be watching me because of it. It's fine.
Lily- Oh, ok. See you later.
(Y/N)- Bye.
I turn around and walk to Jesse.
(Y/N)- Babe, you can't stare at me like that.
Jesse- Yes I can and it's not staring.
(Y/N)- If it wasn't staring. Then what would you call it?
Jesse- Uh... Watching from afar.
(Y/N)- *sigh* ok, why are you watching me?
Jesse- So that I see if someone bothers you.
(Y/N)- I'm fine, I promise. You don't need to watch me.
Jesse- Yes I do.
(Y/N)- Is it because of that guy?
Jesse- No.
(Y/N)- Jesse...
Jesse- Maybe a little...
(Y/N)- Everything is fine now. He's nowhere to be found.
Jesse- Ok but... Other guys.
(Y/N)- You're now worried about other guys? You?
Jesse- What... No.
(Y/N)- Babe...
Jesse- Maybe...
(Y/N)- You have got to be kidding.
Jesse- I knew that other guys would want you but I never really... I never really expected it to feel like this. With other girls I've been with it wasn't a real serious thing. So when another guy hit on them I wouldn't care. This is different though. It's like... I don't know. I just get a feeling in my stomach and I don't like it.
(Y/N)- Ok, babe... Listen to me.
He nods.
(Y/N)- I only have eyes for you.
Jesse- For now, what if some other guy comes along that's better than me and you go with him? You could do way better than me.
(Y/N)- Jesse. You are being paranoid.
Jesse- No I'm not.
(Y/N)- Yes you are.
Jesse- Let's go.
(Y/N)- Topic changing. Interesting tactic.
Jesse- Let's just go.
(Y/N)- Ok...
I start to leave.
Jesse- No, you're next to me.
He pulls me closer to him.
(Y/N)- Now you're being paranoid and...
A guy walks past us and he looked at me smiling.
Jesse- Don't look at my girlfriend like that. My girlfriend, remember that.
The guy had gone away.
(Y/N)- And possessive.
Jesse- I'm not paranoid or possessive. I'm being protective.
(Y/N)- Protective... Really. What from?
Jesse- Everything and anything. Anyone, anything, anywhere, anytime.
(Y/N)- Alright... maybe you just need some reassurance today because you are spiraling into a paranoid, possessive, protective state.
Jesse- Mhm...
(Y/N)- Let's go to class babe.
I kiss his cheek. He puts his arm around my shoulders and we go into the next class. Again we sat next to each other.
(Y/N)- I'm fine. I'm with you.
Jesse- Ok...
(Y/N)- Good, now pay attention to the teacher. You'll get all of my attention after.
I smile and look at the teacher. I see him out of the corner of my eye start paying attention to the teacher again. Good. I could see him glance at me every once and a while though.
Teacher- Ok, class dismissed.
We hear the bell ring. I get my stuff and go stand next to Jesse.
(Y/N)- Next class.
We went to the next class and did the same thing. We heard the bell and we left the class. Jesse had his arm draped around my shoulders while we were walking into the lunchroom.
(Y/N)- Invites now before we forget.
Jesse- Yeah.
