Jungkook's pov.

He leaned back into his car seat relaxing. One hand on the steering, one hand on my thigh while driving and using his thumb rubbing my exposed skin. I got goosebumps.

HOT.

"So how's your mom doing?" He asked, glancing at me then back at the road.

"She's okay, she just flew out a couple hours ago to Canada and won't be coming back until Monday evening." I said smiling at him while he looked shocked.

"So you're alone at home? because I know that Bogum would be staying at Lilly's for the weekend." He sternly asked.

"Eh, yeah but it's cool though." I said shrugging.

"Why don't you come stay with me until she's back? I don't like the idea of you staying home alone, plus we have dress shopping and a gala to attend anyways. It would be much easier." He suggests while looking at me.

I thought about it for a while and I think it's a good idea plus I get to stay with him. That's a plus.

"Oh okay, but I'll have to get some clothes first." I said to him, he looked so happy right now that I was proud of myself for doing that.

"No problem, we'll just drop by on our way there." He said, taking my hands and kissing it multiple times.

"Oh I forgot to ask, how is Jimin's mother doing now?" He asked concerned, she did the surgery a week ago and everything went perfectly fine. She's just recovering now.

"She's doing great Tae, we can't thank you enough for helping us. You're truly amazing." I said admiring him and he blushed red.

"It was nothing but I'm really glad I could help." He answered truthfully just as the car came to a stop and he parked it.

"Let's go." He got out of the car and came around my side opening the door for me. As soon as I came out he closed it and went into the backseat gathering some folders with papers and his briefcase.

He then grabbed my hand as we both made our way into the building. As we reached the office building, the security let us in right away. He held my hands and led up to an elevator again. We went up and reached his office which looks a lot like the other one.

"Doll, you can have a seat on the couch while I interview these people okay?" He said and gave me his phone to play games, which I happily took and started playing temple run that I downloaded last week.

He then went and sat down on the leather chair around his desk. "Josh I'm ready, you can send them in one by one." He said through the work phone.

Immediately we heard a knock and he told the person to come in and they did.

A man in his mid 30s walked in looking nervous but determined at the same time.

"Good evening sir." He said to Taehyung to which he answered back politely saying a good evening as well.

"So without further do, I Kim Taehyung , the CEO of this Law Firm. It's a pleasure to meet you and you're Anthony Mike, correct?" Taehyung said politely with a smile getting up and shaking his hands.

"Yes sir I am, It's a pleasure to meet you as well." The guy said after shaking his hands.

"Wonderful, tell me more about yourself." Taehyung said sitting back down with one leg crossed over the other while opening his jacket.

Oh Lord.

"My name is Anthony Mike and I've worked as a lawyer for 5+ years in Malony firm. I have some background data, I studied at Columbia Law University. Throughout my career, I've done some pretty impressive things too, I'm also a people person and I am 34 years of age." He said confidently.

"Why do you want to practice law?"

"I want to practice law because I'm passionate about bringing justice to clients and upholding the law of our country. I have already seen too much injustice in the world, I also find law an excellent match for my personality and strengths. To start with; I have a great memory, excellent communication and argumentation skills. I am also extremely ambitious, but have a strong moral codex at the same time, which I believe is a good combination for any lawyer and I enjoy talking to people, especially from the business world. That's why I'd love to specialize in corporate law, and perhaps one day have my own legal office."

"Excellent, Why did you decide to apply for this position?"

"I'm very passionate about sustainability and renewable energy. In fact I've always wanted to put my law degree to a good cause—and the position as a lawyer at this company is just the right thing. I've been following your company for the past few years, and I love how you handle your work here in America."

"Thank you, What are your biggest strengths?"

"One of my biggest strengths is perseverance and I'm also good at picking up new skills and tha I'm very efficient at working under pressure. No matter the crisis or stress, I can make the right decisions on-the-spot."

"Hm, that's it for today. Do you have any questions you'd like to ask me?" Taehyung asked him.

"No sir." He said quietly.

"Okay, It was a pleasure meeting you and thank you for coming today. My assistant will call you if anything." Taehyung said dismissively and walked around the table shaking the man's hand while the guy immediately stood.

"Thank you Mr. Kim, have a blessed day." He said then walked out of the office.

Taehyung came over to me immediately checking if I was okay or if I needed anything which I told him no, he then went back to interviewing 3 more people after that. He looks so tired. Luckily it's only one person left.

A knock sounded in the office as Taehyung said a 'come in'. I looked up and saw a beautiful blonde hair green eye woman walking in looking like a model.

"Hello Mr. Kim, It's a pleasure to finally meet you." She said with a flirty smile, batting her eyelashes at Taehyung and I just rolled my eyes.

Eyes off him bit*h. He's mine!

"Pleasure meeting you Miss Lee." Taehyung said in a professional manner. Question after question, they finally finished and I have to say, I'm sure this girl failed badly by flirting throughout the whole interview.

She saw me and a look of surprise took over her face but then she started giving me bad eyes all throughout the interview which I'm sure Taehyung saw because he immediately ended the interview with her.

"Finally. I'm so tired doll." He said leaning his head backwards closing his eyes. I went behind his chair massaging his shoulders and forehead.

He lets out a sigh of pleasure while thanking me and I peck his lips.

We stayed there a little while longer in
comfortable silence while still massaging his forehead. I actually thought he fell asleep but I was wrong when I saw his eyes open all of a sudden.

He finally stood up after a good amount of time and held my hands leading me out of the office.

"Come on doll, let's get you something to eat then go home afterwards. It's been a hectic day already and my bed is calling me." He said rubbing his eyes tiredly and pecking my forehead.

With that we made our way outside the building and into his BMW. Damn this man changes cars more than anything.

We soon got into the car and he drove off to get us some food. Hm food!
