Him opening up to me made me see him in a whole different light.

I can't even imagine going through half of what he has gone through.

But it made me feel a sense of respect for him and well empathy.

I won't even lie I just viewed him as another Arab fboy but honestly what I'm really noticing is that this tough playboy persona he puts on is just a mask for his real personality and emotions.

If I wasn't trying to play football, I should have seriously become a psychiatrist.

Like I really just analyzed this dude right now.

We ended up talking some more but I ended up drifting into a deep sleep.

****
I feel something hit my shoulder.

*thud*

Honestly I don't care enough to open my eyes and see.

*thud*

Ugh cmon...

I open my eyes and see a pile of crumpled papers around me.

What in the world?

I sit up and also notice that there was a blanket on top of me.

I glance over at Haris who is smiling, "Were you seriously throwing paper at me?"

"Yes."

I'm also assuming he's the one who put this blanket over me.

"Thanks by the way for the.." I finish my sentence by pointing at the blanket and he nods.

"We're supposed to board now." He says as he gets his things together.

My stomach grumbles and I take a look at the time.

Yup it's morning now.

"I got you an iced coffee and a bagel." He says handing me a drink and a tiny bag.

"How'd you know that I like iced coffee?"

He gives me a look, "You're kidding right? You have showed up to school late like a hundred times now because of 'iced coffee'."

Good point.

I mean hey I love me some iced coffee.

It's my favorite girl breakfast.

"Thanks." I say as I take a sip of it.

Not sure why he's being this nice to me for.

Or just in general since he's met me.

He literally has no reason to be.

Especially since I have been pretty rude and passive aggressive towards him.

But to be fair I'm not really all sweet and bubble gummy with any guy.

Like that's cringe.

Maybe that's why I can't keep a man..?

Not me having another psychiatrist moment here.

I gather all of my items and hand over the blanket to Haris.

"Here."

He shakes his head, "Keep it."

I open my mouth to protest but he starts heading towards the line that is formed by the flight screen.

I take a bite out of my bagel and look at my seat number on my boarding pass.

"Where are you sitting?" He asks.
