Shivangi's pov..

We reached my house with a tensed face. My parents were not asleep, they were walking outside. Kirti greeted them, and my mother hugged her.

My mother asked,"How was your day, both of you?"

Kirti answered, holding my hand, signalling me to smile,It was great,Shivangi got a great invester."

Maa looked at me,and I nodded with a smile.
Papa asked me,his voice evident of concern,"Akshat se mili tum? Office mei aur ghr mei sb thik hai na?"

(Did you meet Akshat? Is everything okay in the office and at home?)

I answered,"Yes, papa I met him today. Everything is good."

I hugged him to remove all the tension I had for Aksh. To light up my mood,he said,"Aaj jyada pyar aa rha hai apne papa pe. Huh? Ldhayi krke aayi ho kya usse?"

I shook my head in no.

Papa teased me,"Abhi toh mil rahi ho agle week jab shadi ke rituals shuru honge tb nahi mil paogii."

(You are meeting him now but you won't be able to meet next week when the wedding rituals start.)

I said, saluting him,"Okay bosss. I will follow your orders."

Maa and Kirti laughed at me.

After talking with them for a while we headed to my room.
Kirti asked politely,"Little Angel, Is there any problem? Why did you take me here?"

I replied,"Kirii, yaar. Dekha tumne unhone kitni drink kr li thi? Aisa wo kabhi krte hi nahi h pr Aaj pta ni kya hua, Krish unka khyal rkh lenge. Mujhe tumhari jarurat thi iss waqt. Toh tumhe le aayi."

(Kiri, Did you see how much he drank? He never does this, but who knows what happened today. Krish will take care of him, but I need you the most this time,so I took you here.)

Kirti questioned me,"Ask him tomorrow. It's too late already, Let's sleep."

As my phone flashed with an unknown number. Who could be at this time? Should I pick the call?

Kirti said, holding the pillow,"Pick the call up."

As I accepted the call, a voice of a man came from another side,"Are you fine, Shivangi?"

The voice was familiar, but I couldn't recognise whom it belonged to. I asked him,"Who's there?"

He replied chuckling,"Aarav. Isse pehle ki tum mujhse poocho ki mujhe tumhara number kaha se Mila, mai khud hi bta deta hu, humne tumhari company se le liya tha."

(Aarav. Before you ask me where I got your number from, let me tell you myself, I got it from your company.)

I answered in frustration,"Yeah, Aarav, I'm fine. You don't have to worry about me."

I cut the call when he was about to speak up again. I was already tensed, and this person is dancing on my nerve already.

Kirti asked,"Who was there?"

I replied,"Aarav Singh, my new investor. He is also from my school. One of my senior, but he is too much flirty and chipkoo type. I don't get a good vibe from him too."

Kirti said placing her hand on my back,"Akshat bro will handle him. You just focus on your work."

I nodded with a small smile. We both laid on the bed,and later slipped to deep slumber.
