Zayn's POV

Once all the holidays had ended and all of Niall's family had gone home, Niall and I found ourselves in the kitchen with our friends doing our normal Friday night tradition. Only this time, Louis came to join us all and seemed to be fitting in seamlessly. Him and Harry really hit it off while he and Liam could banter on for hours. He also found it fun to make fun of Harry and Liam in their ways of subtle flirting. Then again, everyone kind of did that so he fit in perfectly.

"Babe, can you go check on Laila?" I asked Niall as I set down the last plate on the table. Laila was with Liam in the nursery getting a diaper change, but I still wanted to know if she was okay. Niall kissed my cheek before he walked out of the kitchen. I couldn't help but look over his body as he walked away. He was just too perfect for words to ever describe. He was also too sexy for me to even handle.

"Dinner is almost ready, mate. I don't think you'll have to resort to eating Niall." Louis joked to me causing Harry to laugh. I looked at them and rolled my eyes, but I still felt the heavy blush on my cheeks.

"I was just admiring him. I see you doing that quite a bit with Liam, Harry." I said back to regain myself. He blushed and looked back to the salad he had made. I don't think anyone really knows how hard it is to have Niall walking around being so attractive and not have any time with him alone. I'm still young and want him in more ways than just one. Even when we do have alone time we're both too tired to do anything.

Liam walked back into the kitchen with Laila in his arms. With how muscular he was, it made my daughter look tiny in his arms. He placed her in the bouncer seat we had in the kitchen then Niall bent down to give her some toys and make sure she was buckled in. He kissed her then looked at me with his blue eyes showing something only I would ever be able to read.

It was a look that he couldn't get over how much her loved our little girl. He always looked at me with those blue eyes of his showing how happy he was we had her. It was almost a thank you to me for having this little girl. I went over to him and pulled him in my arms. He pressed his body into me then looked up in my eyes. One of his hands rested just on the beginning swell of my bum. He giggled like he felt naughty for doing that. I kissed his lips for just being cute.

"Can't wait to be alone." He whispered to me with innocence that I couldn't ever understand. He was mature in the sense he could take care of the whole entire world and he knew exactly what people were going through, but he was so innocent that it made him seem young. He couldn't ever do or say anything that would take that innocence away. It was refreshing to see that actually. I rest my forehead on his and smiled because he was too cute.

"Do you two love birds want to sit down and eat?" Liam asked us. Niall pulled me to go sit at the table. The whole time our hands never left each other.

As the meal went on, we all talked about how our first week of work was now that we're all back from holiday time off. While we ate Laila would make little babbling sounds and play with the toys Niall had given her. Louis was saying he still had time to go back to classes and he was excited because he was graduating. Liam, Harry and Niall all boasted about how many people came back to the shelter only too tell them they got a job or a new house. Seeing how much Niall cared really warmed my heart. I had told them that work was the same boring thing, but it was really far from that.

The whole business with the medication price increase for that on prescription and our company getting blamed for it only seemed to be growing more and more out of control. No matter how many letters we wrote to deny any involvement with the price increase, people would only send more letters complaining. We even had a group of protesters out front. I was just glad that Laila didn't go to work with me anymore so she didn't have to be apart of this.
