CRAIG'S POV

I was walking down the halls of school when a sign caught my attention.

South Park Middle School Annual School Dance.

Great.

Usually I'd be excited but I'm really not.

"You going?" Token's voice made me jumped and I turn around quickly.

"I don't know..."

"You should...I'm taking Nichole," he said smiling.

"Wow what a surprise," I say sarcastically and he playfully punches my arm and then leaves leaving me alone with my thoughts.

I sigh, "Who would want to go with me?"

With my nickname Twinkle Toes, me being a dick to Tweek in front of everyone, and also quitting football for a coffee business I'm the laughing stock of the entire school probably.

"I would," I hear Tweek's voice but I turn around and he isn't there.

It was in my head.

I can't just take a boy to the dance my life would be a living hell.

But then again, my whole persona is me not caring.

I shouldn't care what people think...right?

If I really like Tweek and I'm actually starting to think I do then why should other people affect what I feel?

Next thing I know I'm standing alone in the hall, "AH SHIT!"

TWEEK'S POV

I walked home from school with that big ass packet that Mr. Garrison decided to assign us.

He thinks it's funny just to see our faces when he hands it to us!

It's like he lives to make our lives suck.

I open the door to see my Dad sitting with my Mom in the living room.

Oh no.

My Mom's eyes are bloodshot red and she has a tissue in her hand, "Your father told me the news."

I scold at my Dad for not waiting for me to tell her and he kinda shrugs, "She pressured me."

"M-Mom please d-don't be upset," I say.

"Tweek, as you're growing up I just have these visions that you're gonna take over the coffee industry with a nice lady by your side and maybe with some kids--"

"T-That's exactly how y-you and D-Dad are, Mom. I c-can't just be y-you guys. I-I have to be m-myself -- and this is m-me!" I say on the verge of crying.

She wipes her tears with her tissue, "I know, hon. That's how I visioned it and I am wrong. If this is how you feel -- how you truly feel, then I will be right there with you."

My Dad's mouth dropped and so did mine.

This is not what I was expecting.

I was expecting an, "TWEEK TWEAK GET OUT OF MY HOUSE IMMEDIATELY YOUR BAGS ARE ALREADY OUTSIDE!!!"

But this is great.

"Well, don't act surprised," My Mom says after moments of silence.

I was okay but then all of a sudden I just start bawling my eyes out.

"Oh my god are you okay?" My Mom says running to give me a hug.

"I-I'm just so h-happy that you're a-accepting this," I said hugging her.

"Even though my religion doesn't agree with it, you're still my son." She says.

We break away from the hug my Dad stands there smiling.

"Now this is what's family is all about."

I wipe my tears and then I notice all the boxes are gone.

Everything's back to normal.

"T-The boxes...w-where are they?" I ask.

"We aren't moving," My Dad said and I jumped literally.

"R-REALLY?!" I say.

"Yes, we realized this is the best option we have in Colorado so we better live it to the fullest," My Mom says.

This is definitely not my Mom.

"H-HOLY CRAP T-THANKS MOM AND D-DAD," I say hugging them both.

This is definitely what family is all about.
