the fall

i want it to be painless
but when is it ever
day after day people leaving forever

sometimes i wish i was never born
i was told we were born to love
and how can i keep doing that if the things i love keep leaving me

i want to just close my eyes and cease to exist
because i would rather fall with you than have to go through another time like this
