Chapter 16 [She Woke Up]

===At The Hospital===

Santana moved her head a little to peek at Dani she saw her sleeping peacefully in her arms which made her smile it felt like ages since she's smiled but once Dani's eyes opened she felt whole again she actually felt something it's amazing how one person can be the reason you keep living everyday Santana slowly laid Dani's head on the pillow as she carefully got up she smiled to herself seeing how peaceful her girlfriend seemed to be she kissed Dani's forehead gently as she creased her blonde hair making sure she didn't wake her up and slowly walked towards her jacket that lay on the chair thats beside Dani she pulled out the small box which had the ring inside it and smiled...at this moment Santana was a hundred percent sure she wanted to propose to Dani she was sure now that if anyone knew about it she'd be proud and not freak out but she didn't want it to be just a normal proposal she wanted something big something that Dani could remember her whole life and she'll need all the help she can get Santana put the box back in her pocket then took out her phone and dialed in a number...

----(Meanwhile)----

===At Miley's Apartment===

Nate was getting ready to leave to go to the hospital he went to the bedroom only to find Miley still asleep he smiled sadly to himself as he saw the love of his life sleeping it's been a while since Miley had slept and last night once they got back home she sobbed endlessly into his chest it broke his heart he was now willing to put whatever feelings he had aside just to help her he was going to be her rock her shoulder to cry on the arms that are going to comfort her the chest she'll always have to sob on he just wants to be everything and anything Miley needs he's gonna help her with her addiction...he'll slowly help her recover and he will also help Dani recover which will also help Santana..he believed in a happy ending for all their lives he just knows that one day all of them will look back at this moment and say "remember when we knew we'd be here one day.." he smiled thinking of how they'd be in twenty years from now him and Miley married with two kids ...Dani and Santana married with kids of their own ..as well as Kurt and Blaine and Rachel and Quinn everyone married to the person they all knew that one day they'd be married two..their kids playing together being the best of friends ...all of them a family ..a family that will stick together through thick and thin Nate snapped out of his thoughts once his phone rang he quickly grabbed the phone it was ringing to loudly that by the time Nate answered Miley was already awake she sat up in her bed as she saw Nate mouth a "i'm sorry" she smiled weakly mouthing back "it's ok" Nate smiled back at her then turned his attention to his phone

"Hello ?"

"she woke up.." Nate instantly knew who and it was that called he felt a smile come across his face as happy tears started to fall from his cheeks Miley was confused she got of the bed and walked towards him 

"i'm coming tell everyone else" he said fast as he hung up he kept on smiling as he took a seat on a sofa that was in the rom Miley waking after him he covered his mouth as tears of joy started to fall from his cheeks he looked at Miley then let go of his mouth smiling "She woke up.." Miley's eyes shot wide open as she tried to wrap the information that she just got in her brain she broke into a smile and hugged Nate as tears of joy started to fall from her eyes Nate tightened the hug and whispered to her ear "she's okay..i can't believe it...i'm so happy" Miley chuckled as tears of joy kept falling from her cheeks and tightening the hug in response..

===At Santana Rachel & Kurt's Apartment===

Rachel and Quinn have been spending the last four days together mostly because Rachel didn't want to be alone and Quinn didn't want to be a third wheel with Kurt and Blaine both of them needed each other for the last couple of days they've gotten so close who knew that Dani's accident would cause both of them to grow found of each other ..Quinn held Rachel when she cried and Rachel held Quinn when she cried...both girls fell asleep the night before crying very worried about Dani they just wanted her to wake up they missed her and they wished she knew what Santana had for her both of them knew that Dani was really special to Santana ...Dani made Santana a better person that was something Brittany couldn't do and both of them couldn't wait till the day Santana would ask Dani and she'd say yes...Rachel woke up from the sound of her phone Quinn woke up to Rachel took her phone as Quinn checked the time 8:30am Quinn rubbed her eyes as she watched Rachel answer the phone..

"hey San.." Rachel knew it was Santana she's the only one who called them at this time..

"She woke up.." again is all that Santana said she couldn't find any other words she barley believed it herself she smiled really big through the phone as she heard the silence take over she hung up she knew Rachel was now smiling and crying happily just as much as she was ..Quinn watched as Rachel's expression turned from sad and tired to happy and relief 

"Rach ?" Rachel looked at Quinn with a big smile and happy tears falling down her face 

"she woke up" Rachel said as she bit her lip to stop the other tears from falling Quinn jumped of the bed smiling pulling Rachel up 

"get dressed hurry up" Quinn broke into happy tears before she hugged Rachel .."she's alive.." Quinn breathed out "Dani's alive.." she said this time more clear Rachel tightened the hug in response as she closed her eyes enjoying the embrace of Quinn and the news that she just heard..

===With Blaine and Kurt===

Blaine was getting dressed while Kurt waited in the living room Kurt just sat still on the couch staring at his and Blaine's phone that were both on the table in front of him he was waiting for a call from Santana to tell her something has happened he was like that for four days Blaine always held him made sure he knew he wasn't alone but Kurt couldn't help it he longed for the call where Santana would say she was ok ..little did he know that the call was getting closer Blaine walked towards Kurt and laid his hand on his shoulder Kurt didn't move his head but he did place his hand over Blaine's hand to tell him that he knew Blaine would hold him if he needed to cry..his phone lit up signalling that it was about to ring Kurt snatched the phone and answered before it barley even rang 

"Santana please tell me this is something good i can't wait any longer i swear i feel like i'm dying i nee-" he was cut of by Santana who just simply said

"She woke up.." 

Kurt froze for a second before he broke into a big smile that caused Blaine to smile Santana hung up knowing exactly what was happening to Kurt and Blaine..Kurt looked up at Blaine with the biggest smile Blaine's seen in four days Blaine knew exactly what Kurt was about to say just from his smile he hugged Kurt as both of them started tear up happy tears..

Once Santana finished all the phone calls she smiled to herself knowing her friends will be here in about half an hour she put her phone back in her jacket and sat next to Dani's bed as she watched her intently without breaking her smile...
