--(4-5 months later)--
Dani was now in her 4th to 5th month in pregnancy ..things were going great ..despite all the morning sickness and the really tiring nights, the weight gain, the carvings at the most wrong timings..and every other side effect you get while being pregnant at the end it was all worth it ..it's like none of those things mattered because what ever happens she would always remind herself that inside her there was a baby growing an actual human being ..and not just any human being..but her's and Santana's ..and whenever she remembered that she pushed aside every side effect and smiled ..and thought..wow i'm really starting a family..
Santana on the other hand probably felt more exhausted than Dani..work was hard especially because she had to stay on her feet most of the time it was very exhausting and not to mention coming home to a very hormonal wife..who craved the most weirdest things at the most wrongest times was put more pressure on her..but Santana wouldn't complain ..she knew it was all worth it ..all the tiredness would be worth it once she feels the baby kick in Dani's stomach for the first time or hold the baby in her arms..she knows that that would be all she needs to feel her tiredness and exhaustion worth something ..
Santana just got home from work...her legs were tired..and all she wanted to do was throw herself in bed and sleep..she put her bags down and went straight to the living room she took her shoes of and threw herself on the living room couch, closing her eyes. Dani smiled to herself she stood by the living room door crossing her hands over her chest she saw the way her wife was exhausted Dani made her way behind the living room couch she smirked hearing the slight snore come from her exhausted overly protective wife
"bad day at work" Dani said into Santana's ear quiet loudly causing her to jump and Dani to giggle Santana rolled her eyes and sat up right pulling her wife around the couch to make her sit beside her on the couch
"yes but i'm all better now" Santana smiled "now that your here" Dani blushed lightly causing Santana to smile bigger Santana put her hand over Dani's now showing baby bump "how's our little girl in there" she asked with the most biggest smile
"good but San you know it could be a boy right" Dani said she knew her wife wanted a girl but she also knew that she wouldn't mind if it was a boy either, Dani had a lot of confidence that Santana would love her kids and treat them just right.
"i know" Santana smiled looking up at her smiling wife but soon a yawn escaped her lips she was still so exhausted
"hey babe are gonna be able to make it to the doctor's appointment ?" Dani asked concerned
"yeah yeah i will i'll just get some sleep and then we'll be heading to the hospital in no time" Santana smiled sleepy she couldn't miss this appointment it's the appointment they get to see whether their baby is a boy or a girl
"okay now go get some rest baby" Dani said pecking her lips
"do you need anything before i sleep ?" Santana asked concerned
"no San go rest okay you've done enough for me you need to sleep" Dani said smiling at her wife Santana returned the smile and soon got up to go to bed...
---(3 hours later at the hospital)---
Santana and Dani are siting by the waiting area in the hospital they held each others hands and curled up together Santana's free hand rubbing gently on Dani's baby bump they could have not been any more happier soon the nurse came out
