Phil: Phil heard the soft sobs coming from your direction and he knew you were having a nightmare. He didn't want to wake you up in fear of making anything worse. Instead, he rolled over to face you and draped his arm over you. He would gently rub your arm and your back and whisper comforting things in your ear. He wouldn't move until he was sure you were okay.

Dan: Dan woke up the minute he heard you cry out in fear. He immediately woke you up and surrounded you in the biggest hug he could give. You would hide your face in his chest while he gently rocked you, never letting go of you. When you calmed down enough to be able to go back to sleep, Dan remained wrapped around you. The two of you stayed cuddled up even after you both fell asleep.
