15. We Are Family...I Think.

Flashback: 8 years

"YOU DISGRACED THIS FAMILY!" Ben's voice was vile as he screamed at his daughter, Catherine, who was giving him a death stare, "HOW DARE YOU DO THIS TO OUR FAMILY"
"DO WHAT DADDY? BE MYSELF??? JUST BECAUSE I'M A LESBIAN DOESN'T MEAN A THING"
"DON'T YOU DARE RAISE YOUR VOICE AT ME"
The two never got along, Benjamin and his daughter had a mutual hate for each other, and it tore the family even farther apart, but it wasn't always this way. It started when Catherine was caught having sex with Spencer Smith in the co-ed bathroom, where Derek, Vanessa, Danesha, and Catherine all went to school. She and her brother lead totally different lives but they always were each other's best friend, Derek was the perfect child and student and Catherine was the not so perfect child and the 'Why will I need this in life' student. Catherine wasn't into males but was only keeping up appearances for her father. Ben thought moving her to an all-girls school would solve all his problems but little did he know he only added gasoline to the fire. After a few months of being at that school, he was called in once again, this time it was sex in a classroom with one of the female students he had just had it with her, Cheryl tried to talk Benjamin out of sending her away but she eventually gave in,
"Young lady..your mother and I have decided to send you to an elite boarding school" he said reclining in his chair
"WHAT?" Catherine bellowed looking at her quiet mother "HOW COULD YOU AGREE TO THIS!"
"Cat sweeti-" "Typical choose your husband over your children nice mom" Cheryl started but was quickly cut off
"Fine I'll go, but do me a favour don't treat Derek like you treated me" and with that Catherine stormed out of her fathers study, when she slammed the door behind her and the tears flowed down her cheeks, her slightly taller brother hugged her deeply, since he was listening by the door,
"Kitty Cat don't leave, please"
"I have to, I have to, to get away from them, I can't put up with this perfect life bullshit" she sobbed into his shoulder
"But who's gonna be here for me? And who's gonna be there for you?" Derek honestly didn't want her to leave he loved his sister and the thought of losing his best friend and his sister in one broke his heart
"Ahh shush" she pulled away from him, her teary green eyes meeting his blue orbs "You got Nessa a-and, I'll get someone trust me" she gave him a weak smile, and he hugged her again, tighter, their father broke the touching moment,
"Pack your things you'll be leaving in ten minutes and Derek you have football practice to get to it" he said re-entering his study,
"Well....see you around baby bro" and she entered her bedroom to retrieve her things. That would be the last time Derek saw his red-haired sister, his father never let her come home during the holidays and she had cut all family ties, eventually with Derek also when he broke up with Vanessa, who she thought was the best thing that happened to him.

Present day

Catherine had just entered she and her girlfriend of 4 years house. They met at school she too was sent away from home, they didn't hit it off well when Cat got to the school since Hannah thought Catherine could take her place as most popular girl in school, their relationship started as rivals but after spending so many days in detention together, they took a liking to each other. Unknown to the other they both were lesbians and found the other attractive, Hannah was a tall, curly-haired brunette with dark brown eyes, athletic body from swimming, small perky breasts, Catherine was around the same height as Hannah which was 5'10, red back length hair, green eyes a fit body with C cup breasts, the two had tribal flower tattoos Catherine's was on her hip and Hannah's in the middle of her back . After graduation which neither of their families attended they started working and got a home, Catherine was a Librarian at the town's library since she loved reading, being around books and children and Hannah was Receptionist at a Doctor's office.
"Kitty Cats home" a tall Hannah rushed out of the kitchen and jumped onto her girlfriend giving her a wet kiss, Catherine's hands glided down Hannah's back to grab her ass as they kissed. Hannah had the day off and been waiting for Cat to get home, she had news for her plus she needed her legs around Catherine's neck.
"You got a call today" she said kissing her girlfriend's forehead,
"I did? From who?" Catherine repaid Hannah's affection by kissing her neck,
"Relax for a sec let me tell you then we could...get to regular programming"
"UGHH fine, who?"
"Umm, a Vanessa Nick?, something like that I wrote it down"
"Vanessa....? Vanessa Nicholas?" Catherine asked while Hannah searched around for the paper,
"That's it Vanessa Nicholas, she uh called to invite you to your brother's birthday she told you to call her" she said handing her the ketchup covered sticky note, Catherine shook her head at her, while she examined the paper. It had been years since she'd been home, practically forever, and to hear Vanessa called, they must be back together she thought,
"I'll be back babe"
"Awwww you just got home!!" Hannah huffed as Catherine went outside.
