Ch XXIV: Will You...?

"Don't say that Blainey. You're not a creature of the underworld." Kurt said sadly before pulling me into a tight embrace. 

I hugged him back a bit cautiously and sighed. "It's not a big deal." I stated. "I'll be fine. I don't really mind anyway. I don't really want my future to be precisely planned out. I'd rather be surprised."

We both grew silent and Kurt sighed. "I'm sorry Blaine."

"What are you sorry for?"

"I-... I don't know. I just feel like I should be sorry." Kurt said, rubbing his temples and closing his eyes.

"Well don't apologize unless you have a reason. Because if you make a habit or it, you'll start to say sorry when you aren't really sorry and I'll stop believing you."

"Oh... Sorry- I mean- Jeez sorry- Wait I- SHOOT!" Kurt stuttered. I shook my head and laughed lightly.

"Don't worry about it. Let's talk about something else. Okay?"

"Yeah, sure... What are you gonna do about Sebastian?"

"I don't know... What are you gonna do about... You know..."

"Living alone?"

"Yeah, that." I sighed and layed down with my head on his lap. I looked up and him and his eyes grew wide and his face developed a certain ruddiness. "You okay?" I said, trying to hold back the smile. He just took a shaky breath and nodded slowly. 

" I'm okay..." He said softly. I noticed that he was doing everything is his power to not look at me and I let the sides of my mouth curve up into a sly smile. 

"Kurt, look at me." He closed his eyes and slowly tilted his head downward and then opened his eyes back up. He was looking me dead in the eyes and his breath hitched. "Thank you." I said and my smile diminished. I wanted to be serious for this. "Kurt?"

"Y-yeah Blaine?" He gulped and we slowly inched closer to each other between warm breaths. 

"Will you kiss me?"
