I was tired still, stiff and sore from sleeping curled up on that park bench the previous night. I wondered if I'd made the right choice, passing up a nice warm bed and taking all that money, leaving while everyone was still asleep.

At the time, I was so excited when I found it, and leaving it there simply wasn't an option, but now, I was feeling terribly guilty about taking it. Bonnie had been so kind, and I hated that all I'd done to repay her was to steal from her.

I was still concerned over money. I wasn't sure exactly how I was going to keep on going once the nine hundred I'd stolen ran out. It was more money than I'd ever seen at one time, but I knew it wouldn't last forever.

I knew I could try and find work around the town, but I was reluctant to get around too much in broad daylight. As well as the three men I'd been attacked by the night before, I now had to try and avoid Bonnie and the two others she was friends with. I'd just have to be extra careful.

I found my way to the main street, tucking my hair beneath the collar of my shirt to try and disguise it, letting a few stray strands fall about my face, and made my way through the small town, glancing over my shoulder every so often to be sure that no one was following me.

There weren't many shops in town, I noticed, a few take away places, a post office, a few bars, tattoo salons and clothes stores. None of them had signs to indicate that they were looking for help.

Feeling disheartened, I continued to the outer perimeter of the town where the second hand stores and laundromats and repair shops were located, as well as a lot of shut down businesses, their signs faded and peeling

There was one building that was better kept than the others. The paint was fresh, and there were several shiny motorbikes parked out the front. It mightnhave once been a shop as well, but, now it seemed that the owners of the motorbikes had claimed it as there own.

I stood and stared for a few minutes, weighing up my options. I knew from past experience that a lot of illegal activity could go on in a biker club, and I wondered if this might be the same.

I didn't have particularly fond memories of clubs like this, and I was about to back off when I heard the roar of a motorbike from behind me. I swung around right as one pulled up alongside me.

There were two people on it, the man in the front staring at me curiously from behind his black sunglasses, but it was the girl behind him that spoke.

"You lost, hun?"

I shook my head, not sure she'd be able to hear me over the engine if I spoke.

"I'm looking for work," I shouted, and the girl smiled, climbing off the bike.

"Hey, Jack," she said to the man, patting his shoulder and he turn to her. "I'll meet you there, don't wait up."

"Right," Jack replied, and rode over the rest of the short distance to park his bike by the others, removing his helmet as he made his way into the building.

"I'm Katy, by the way," she told me.

"I'm Jenna."

"You sure you want to work in an M.C?" Katy raised an eyebrow, and I shrugged.

"I need to earn some money," I told her.

She smirked, giving me the once over.

"Honey, there's only one job a skinny thing like you could do around here."

I knew what she was referring to, and I was already prepared for it. I'd hoped otherwise, and, even though I was disappointed, I wasn't at all surprised.
