Dean lended Sam baby for some reason. You didn't think the elder Winchester would let anyone drive his car. Somehow, Dean continued to surprise you even though you've been hunting with him for years.
Maybe he had a change in heart.
For whatever reason, Sam was blissful. He had an elated, hidden smile on his face that you couldn't find the reason for. He was making you nervous, continuing to glance your way instead of keeping his eyes on the road. You trusted him, you did, but something was off. You couldn't place it. Nonetheless, you put a smile on your face reserved for him because his smile had to mean something. It was going to be fine if you had to wait for that something to appear.
Sam changed the station as a song he didn't like came on. Immediately, Fallingforyou by the 1975 started sounding out and you couldn't help but grin. A beautiful song for a magnificent moment. You cruised through the song, windows down, music blasting; the perfect moment.
"Sam, where are we going?" You questioned curiously. Your boyfriend smiled brightly at you, something hidden in his eyes.
"For a picnic. I know the perfect spot." He stated causing you to giggle. Your eyes filled with admiration at the man you loved. The man who would do anything for you, even sell his own soul.
"I love you Sam." He grinned a toothy smile and kissed your cheek, somehow keeping his eyes on the road at the same time.
"And I love you." Silence filled the car as you flicked down your sunglasses and Sam turned the music up even louder than before. You put your hand out the window and wiggled it around like your hand was riding the wind. Sam chuckled and shook his head in amusement before pulling over to the side of the road. He pulled a basket out of the trunk as your eyes widened in the sight of a field full of flowers.
"This is so beautiful." You whispered, running into the field and twirling with your arms open wide to embrace the wonders of nature. Sam smiled and followed after you, twirling a velvet box in his pocket. He set up a blanket and the food in the middle of the field, sitting back and watching you pick flowers when he was done. You smiled and came over to him, holding a crown made of flowers that you weaved yourself.
"Thanks." Sam laughed as you placed it gingerly on his head, giggling before sitting down. He couldn't help but watch you as you plopped grapes in your mouth and smiled widely. "Um, Y/N, there's something I want to ask you." Your boyfriend trailed off with a nervous smile. He scratched the back of his neck and took a deep breath as you nodded. Slowly he pulled the box out of his pocket, fiddling with it as your eyes grew wide.
"I-I love you and want to spend the rest of my life with you. You're so unique and amazing and just perfect. There's no one else I would want by my side." By now you had tears streaming down your face, a hand covering your open mouth in an infinite gasp. You couldn't speak, so instead you nodded your head rapidly, swinging your arms around his neck.
Sam felt some tears leak out of his eyes as he, too was very elated. You soon pulled back, tracks down your face as you kissed him soft and slow. Once you were apart, Sam placed the ring around your finger and smiled, staring into your eyes.
"I love you, Y/N."
"I love you too Sam." -
It's kind of longer? I dunno, I guess I've been in a bit of a slump lately. Anyways, LOOK AT HOW PRETTY JARED'S BOOK IS!!!
