Meeting with the Council

Rey, Anakin, Obi-Wan, Ben, Poe, Finn, Luke, and Chewie walked down the winding hallways of the Jedi Temple heading towards the High Council chambers. "Wow! I never expected to be so nervous about this before, but I guess that has something to do with the fact that in our era there is no Jedi Council, barely a Jedi Order for that matter." Luke sighed.

Now it was Anakin and Obi-Wan's turn to stop mid-step. "WHAT?" They shouted in unison. Luke silently cursed at himself. "Uh, we'll explain as much as we can without saying too much. I have a feeling that the Force doesn't want us to reveal everything just yet." Rey quickly stated.

The group walked the rest of the way in silence. When they reached the doors of the High Council chambers they stopped. "Perhaps you should stay out here a minute, so that my Master and I can tell the Council you're here? Oh, and my suggestion-- leave the Wookie, for Force's sake!" Anakin suggested.

Not even twelve seconds later the door to the Council chambers opened. Yeah, that wasn't giving off an ominous feeling AT ALL! Luke(AN: Let's say he comes back to life after Episode VIII, OK.), Rey, Ben, Finn, and Poe walked in. They stood in the middle of the room uncomfortably.

"The group of Jedi, from the future, they are!" Yoda declared. Luke's eyes were wide. Rey gaped. Poe started to sweat(AN: Let's also say that Poe is Force sensitive and he will take minimum Jedi training.) Finn's knees almost gave out. Ben gulped. "More to tell us, there is?" Yoda asked.

Rey was standing by Anakin the entire time. Anakin couldn't help but notice how beautiful Rey was. But not just physically. Her presence in the Force was unfamiliar, and yet soothing and ethereal. He didn't know how to explain it. It was like he just felt connected to her in some way, which was strange to him considering he didn't even know her.

"Well?" Mace Windu asked, snapping Anakin out of his thoughts. Luke stepped in. "Uh, well, I am Luke... Starkiller, this is Rey--" Luke was cut off by his father interrupting, "--Palpatine!" The Council started to murmur amongst themselves until Windu silenced them.

Rey looked at Luke confused. Luke explained everything through their Bond. Suddenly everything made sense and she felt a little worried.

"Settle down, settle down! Now, you said she's a Palpatine? Is she the chancellor's daughter?" Windu asked curiously.

Luke told everyone to raise their mental shields through the Force. "No, she's his granddaughter, and one of my Padawans!" The Council gasped again. Ki-Adi Mundi shouted, "That is impossible! No master has ever had more than one padawan in the history of the Jedi Order!"

Suddenly something clicked in the back of Anakin's mind. "Wait, you said that in your era there wasn't a Jedi Council, almost barely a Jedi Order?" The entire room went into an uproar of noise. Yoda banged his gimmer stick on the floor to silence everyone.

"Master Yoda, I will tell you what I can but there are some things that the Force is telling me not to tell you. As I was saying: this is Rey Palpatine, Finn, Poe, and my nephew Ben Solo. We are from the future. We were sent back by my... father to stop him from turning to the Dark Side and stop the Sith." Luke declared.

The entire room went silent. "Hmm, tell us about your father, can you?" Yoda asked. "Well, he was a Jedi Knight in this timeline, he fell in love, and he became evil trying to save my mother, my sister and I from death; everything else is classified, until a later date!" Luke said plainly.

Luke caught Anakin roll his eyes like Luke's father was an insane man. Luke scoffed at Anakin. Wait till he finds out he's that insane man.
