Rey was just looking at the landscape the whole way to the lake country. Not once did she look Anakin... Or Padmé for that matter. Anakin's eyes never strayed from Rey the entire time, for fear that she would disappear.
//Anakin, please don't look at me.// Rey sent a mental note to him. Anakin brightened up when he heard her voice. //Rey, I'm sorry if I embarrassed you back at the palace. It's just you were standing there, you were so proud, and you were very... Intoxicating! I couldn't resist you! Please, say something?//
No answer. // Rey?// Still no response. Anakin sighed and hung his head in defeat. Rey finally had the courage to send a rogue glance towards him.
When Anakin saw her look at him, he noticed that the look she gave him wasn't the usual mischievous look, but a sad look. Rey turned back towards the landscape.

The gondola speeder finally arrived at the house. Anakin got out first so that he could help Rey and Padmé out. They all walked up the stairs and went towards the house.
When they got there they put their luggage in their rooms, and got dressed in different clothing. Rey was wearing a flowing black laced aquamarine dress that exposed her back. Padmé wore a regular Nubian dress.
Anakin was still dressed in his tunics though. He walked over to Rey who was standing on the balcony. Padmé was sitting on a couch a few yards behind them watching.
"On the lake by the house, the shores are covered with white sand! You two should check it out," Padmé suggested. Rey scoffed. "I've seen nothing but sand since I was a child, honestly, I am tired of it!"
Anakin smiled at Rey. "Yeah, I don't like sand either." Anakin smirked.
Padmé took her cue to leave. When she did, Rey looked at Anakin shyly and pulled him in for a kiss. He kissed her back. For the rest of that moment it was only them in the world.
They were fighting a war...
