Amahle's Point of View

"Mommy! Mommy!" Jay and Lucille yelled at the same time, as they both come running towards me.

In case you are wondering, they are not twins. Jay is older than Lucille but she grows faster than him for unknown reasons.

The past six years after leaving my so called pack, life for me has been just wonderful since I have my two angels by my side.

Jay's father was my Alpha and mate Brock and Lucille's father is Hades.

"I'm hungry!" Jay said, running towards the refrigerator trying to open the door.

"Okay, okay. Lucy sweetie, you hungry?" I asked her, as I took out the pancake mix.

"Uh uh." She shook her head, running back to her notebook.

Lucille and Jay are complete opposites, probably because of their fathers. Jay is more open and always happy, while Lucille likes being by herself and hates communicating. Also Jay is just like any normal, healthy, werewolf boy and Lucille is a bit different than most children.

But I love them both equally.

When the pancakes were done, I gave Jay his share and began eating mine.

"Mommy look. A man!" Jay yelled excitedly, showing me how he had eaten around his pancakes to form a man.

"Don't play with your food Jay Jay, or I will finish it for you," I said chuckling.

When we were done eating, I cleaned up before we were on our way to Samantha's place, so that I could drop off Jay and Lucille there.

Samantha was like a sister to me. She is just the sweetest, most caring person you could come across and she just loves children.

When I dropped them off, I headed for work. I worked at a small little diner as a waitress.

When I got there, I placed a welcoming smile on my face and began working.

There weren't that much customers, so I didn't have much to do.

I was just done serving a family of four when the door opened to reveal a very familiar face.

Brock and his beta and two other men walked in and took a seat in the back corner.

My mind was telling me to run, but I didn't. Instead, I wiped the smile off of my face and walked over to their table.

Here at the diner, we always had to be kind to the customers, but I was in total bitch mode to even care about the rules.

"What y'all wanna eat and make it quick," I said, getting out my notepad.

I wanted to burst out laughing at their reactions, but I managed to hold it in.

Brock was about to make a comment until he saw me. He didn't know what to say.

"Hurry up! I haven't got all day," I said, tapping my pen on the notepad.

The others were just looking between the two of us with their mouths shut closed.

I turned around getting ready to leave their table, when Jay just burst through the door and run towards me.

"Mommy!" He yelled, jumping on me.

Oh crap!
