Rune Volturi sat in her throne playing with a piece of her obsidian hair and waiting for today's trials to begin. She was then surprised to see the human who worked for her family enter, holding what appeared to be a note and moving towards Rune's throne. The girls eyes held an unconcealed fear as she timidly approached.
Rune lazily moved from her throne and took the letter glancing at it as a small smile fell onto her lips.
Edward and Isabella were getting married and they wanted the queen herself to attend. Realistically the queen knew she couldn't attend but still enjoyed the thought of them personally inviting her.
That's why the queen decided to write a letter.
Edward,
I regret too inform you that I shall not be able to attend your union with Isabella, however I would like to sincerely congratulate you on your marriage.
It is truly a wonderful thing, to find the other piece of your soul, and I am truly happy for the both of you, to see you truly become one.
In other matters, I surely hope you have received the letters I have sent to you and understand the meaning behind them.
