Rune watched with little interest as Alec used his gift on a vampire, placing her hand on his shoulder as a cue to stop him.
When the male opened his eyes they went to Runes first, and the man flinched, looking around to see that he was surrounded.
"I would never go against you my queen, any of you." Toshirio tried desperately, but Rune only rolled her eyes and made a noise of distaste.
"Of course not, my dear Toshirio." Aro murmured with fake reassurance as he held out his hand for the vampire to take expectantly. When he obliged with obvious hesitation Rune knew he would die.
"It appears Carlisle is still expecting you." Aro spoke softly, his eyes barely meeting Rune but she knew what to do.
Without hesitation the older vampires held out her hand, igniting her gift and reaching out, mentally she pulled on the vampires soul, taking it from his body before he even knew what was happening.
"Carlisle is all but ensuring his own destruction." Caius muttered with a sadistic smile as he looked at his brother's and sister.
"Pity." Rune replied sarcastically as they walked out of alley, listening to the sound of Felix ripping the now dead vampire apart.
