Chapter 23:
James' p.o.v:
I sat in my car in aggravation, Victoria is with Dylan now.
I am too late, god damn me and my stupid need for a good reputation.
If I was smarter I would have stayed with her and held her while she would cry, say I love her when she's pissed off, kiss her at random moments, and just be able to look around and say "Ahhh there is my amazing girl."
But that's not going to happen, because I screwed up, and instead of me getting close to her when a guy hurt her- I was the guy who hurt her and Dylan was the one getting all the action.
I banged my head on the steering wheel a couple of times, making it beep.
I heard someone tap on my window.
I looked up into those familiar blue eyes.
She motioned for me to roll the window down.
I pressed the button and rolled the window down.
"James, why are you banging your head on the steering wheel?" she asked.
I sighed and just pointed at her.
"Who? Me?" she said.
I nodded and replied,
"I am such a dumb ass you have no clue how stupid I feel and felt after I let Vera blackmail me."
She looked down and sighed.
She glanced back up at me and put her hand to her head.
"My god, jeez my head is killing me." She said.
I started up my car and looked at her.
She was fiddling with the end of her shirt and was glancing around.
"What happened?" I asked.
"Mild concussion, I fainted. My brother left what the hell" she replied.
"I'll drive you home... I mean if you want" I said.
She looked at me and sighed,
"Alright thanks."
She got in the car and pushed the hair out of her eyes.
"So what's up with you and Dylan?" I said trying to break the silence.
She licked her bottom lip and rubbed her head.
"Uh, we're going out I guess? Not very sure he just woke up so." She said.
I nodded and turned down her street.
How I would love to make out with her, I don't want to creep her out though.
I watched as she closed her eyes and rested her head on the window.
Victoria's p.o.v:
What an awkward car ride, and im super tired.
Are me and Dylan a couple?
"Look, I want to be your friend, if I can't be anything else." James said, which interrupted my thoughts.
I opened my eyes and looked at him.
"Sounds good James, I really need a friend." I replied.
He half-heartedly smiled and patted my hand.
Of course I knew this was hard for him, but if this is all we could be...then why not try it out?
We pulled up in front of my house.
I paused, not getting out of the car just yet.
"Victoria..." James whispered.
I turned to face him, and I was greeted by his lips.
Whoa.
He pulled away and said,
"I needed to do it one more time."
Shocked, I laughed nervously and got out of the car and sprinted into my house.
I can survive this friendship if he kisses me like that.
I closed my eyes, sighed and ran back to his car.
I opened the door and plopped down on his lap.
"Can I kiss you one more time, for good old times." He asked.
I closed the door and kissed him without even answering his question.
He licked my bottom lip for an entrance.
Without thinking I opened my mouth, and soon enough we were hard core making out.
5 minutes passed and I pulled away.
"Whoa, that was the best last kiss I've experienced yet." He sighed.
"remember after this we are only friends." I reminded him and opened the door and got out.
"BYE BEST FRIEND" he called out to me before pulling away.
I am such a whore.
~Yeah you are.
Hey! Youre supposed to be on my side.
~you're the one thinking this, but don't worry its not like you know for sure you and Dylan are going out.

I shook my head slightly and went up to my room.
