Allie ended up crying into my chest for a good twenty minutes- Luke running upstairs to comfort Christina
"Why don't you want sissy?" I questioned once her tears stopped flowing.
She kept her head nuzzled into my neck as she spoke quietly
"She left me"
Then it actually hit me
We never took the time to explain to Allie exactly where Christina was when Allie went home with Luke.
"Princess, she didn't leave you" I spoke quietly- cause technically, Allie left her
"Sissy had to stay at the hospital so I could make her feel better" I spoke quietly.
"Sissy didn't feel good?" Allie asked, her head sitting up.
"No, she didn't, you know how you have a ouchy right here?" I asked, touching her lower tummy gently, making her nod.
"Sissy has the same one- it just takes longer for Sissy to feel better, so we had to make sure she felt okay one more night." I spoke simply, kissing her head lightly
I watched her eyes move to my chest
"Is she mad at me?"
The tears came back- so I immediately dismissed that
"No, no, she's not mad- she's just hurt baby" I spoke quietly
"How about we go talk to sissy and give her some love, I'm sure she misses you"
I carried her upstairs, going into Christina's room- where Christina was still crying into Luke
"Go talk to sissy" I spoke, letting Allie down, seeing her almost sprint to Christina.
"You didn't leave me."
