The black and white scaly noses touch each other, then flinch back from the contact but coming close again. Confusion swirls inside the beats' brains as they try to understand what kind of animal is in front of them.

The larger one knows many species by looks; he knows the many carnivores on the island where he used to live freely for the past three years. It was clear he isn't a herbivore by his obvious features of sharp teeth, long claws, and his capability to stand on two legs. But what confuses him even more what the fact it looks similar to him. Yes, he has seen himself once by walking around the damaged buildings and finding a huge, white carnivore staring right back at him. And after many attempts of intimidation and seeing no retreat or attempt of attack, he came to the realization it was his reflection.

After the realization, he took the time to look over his body in great interest. His calculating eyes examined every feature he had that he could see. His big, muscly body, larger than any other carnivore on the island. His strong legs that could carry his heavy body through the trees of the tropical island. His long claws that caused deep, fatal injuries, bringing down even the largest of prey. His bright amber eyes that showed more emotions that his face, the most prominent was of longing, the need of his favorite company of his favorite human.

And as the white beast looks down at the black one, he sees similarities between the two. The quills and spikes coming down the back of their necks, their teeth not grown in rows, but its messiness makes it even more deadly. Their posture, even if one has longer arms, they stand in the same way.

The smaller beast stares at the larger one, his mind working harder than it ever did to understand what he is. He has never seen an animal as he grew up, a few goats and humans but none other than that, especially one as big as the one in front of him. And even if he has never seen him, he knows it is dangerous. He is more than capable of severely injuring him and even kill.

The white beast has eyes very similar to his, but more with more of a prominent orange hue compared to his redder ones. His arms are shorter, and his limbs more muscled. His posture is better refined, his skin doesn't flinch, or his claws clicked the floor. His behavior is clearly less compulsive and more rational; he knows how to behave to commands without error, from only one person at least.

Archer flinches back but stands his ground when Levi moves in closer, his nose brushing over the black neck down to his side, taking in the smaller creature's scent. Levi catches the metallic scent of blood smeared all over the black dinosaur, giving him the idea the smaller creature went on a killing spree. Of course, if it were his human's blood, he would spill the spilling blood.

Just like him, three years ago.

"Boys, I know you want to keep sniffing each other, but we need to go," A voice – different from grunts and growls – came from the small human next to them, breaking their curiosity and suspicion of the animal in front of them.

The human is so small, so fragile. She knows she has control over these dinosaurs, these Indo hybrids, but she doesn't know how much. If Levi wanted to, he could eat her in one bite, and she wouldn't know what hit her before it was too late. And if Archer wanted to, he could rip her limp by limp before she died. But they didn't. They couldn't. The only way they could hurt her was unintentionally, and even then, guilt from their complex and developed brain would pain them.

She took care of them, fed and nurtured them, taught them tricks, spent precious time to see them grow into the perfect killing machines the world saw them but lost puppies for her.

If they could, they would take her to the most isolated place, cave or hideout, keep her in there and take care of her themselves; all so they could have them to themselves.

Her human eyes, almost useless during a night with rainfall – thankfully now dissipating into a drizzle – looks up to the dinosaur, their perfect vision for hunting for both day and night fixed down on her. Relief and doubt fight each other inside her as both Archer and Levi don't show any signs of hostile intent, but there is still a chance they show it.

All she wants is to take them somewhere safe, somewhere she knows they will be happy and free.

"Levi," She speaks softly and steps closer to him. "Go back to where Damon is," Levi's head tilts to the side in confusion. "The other human that smells like me," Levi notices the similarities of their scent, but he still was suspicious of the male. He doesn't like their proximity but tolerates it.

Knowing what he has to do, he gives the two one more look before walking off to where her brother is supposed to be.

"And you, Archer. I need you to behave," She turns to face Archer, who goes down on his front legs so he can stand at her height. "There is one human that you cannot kill under or severely injure under no circumstances. He is my brother. He will be waiting for us to go home. Remember, you cannot hurt him."

His red-amber eyes look over her small body, noticing her shake ever so slightly from the cold wind and wet clothes. He knows his scaly body won't do any help, but he still wants to help. So he takes a step closer to her, his arm a bit in front of her but to her sides, his head on her back, and wraps his neck around her. Even though he can use his arm, this way, he feels closer to her.

Her slim arms carefully do their best to wrap around his thick neck and not get too much pricked by his back spines.

"Thank you," Her soft voice is next to his ear canal, which instantly made him purr. "Now, let's go."
