CHAPTER 35.1: The Coinciding Cases at Elite's Academy (Part 2)

Matapos ibaba ang tawag ay agad na natigilan si Razor nang maramdamang may masamang tinging nakapukol sa kanya mula sa kanyang likod. Dahan-dahan naman siyang lumingon only to find Peniel throwing death glares on him.

"W-What?" Razor asked.

"Didn't you hear the detective a while ago? Sabi niya don't touch anything!" muntik nang mapatakip sa tainga si Razor dahil sa mahina pero matinis na boses ng babae. Pareho naman nilang tiningnan ang Detective na abala sa pakikipag-usap sa mga forensic officers.

"I'll just check his laptop for a little bit!" halata sa mukha nito ang excitement at saka hinarap ulit ang laptop.

"Hey, I told you-"

May kinuha itong hard drive sa maliit na bag at saka sinalpak sa laptop. "This will just take few seconds, don't worry!"

Maya-maya pa ay lumabas na sa screen ang 'COPY COMPLETED' at parang walang nangyaring tumayo si Razor at lumayo sa laptop. Nakanganga namang sumunod na lang dito si Peniel. Mahirap na nga naman at baka siya pa ang pagbintangang gumalaw sa laptop.

"Hey, what are you trying to do with-"

"So the man fell from this window..." sabi ni Razor habang nakatingin sa sliding window malapit sa mesa kung nasaan ang laptop kanina. He tried to imagine the condition of the body that they have discovered a while ago.

"He just came out of the bath..." mahinang sabi ni Razor at saka nilingon ang direksyon ng comfort room. He was trying to reconstruct the flow of events the victim had have before he met his end. "He was wearing his pajama... and was about to sleep..."

Nilingon niya ang laptop na kanina lang ay kinakalikot niya. "He was with someone."

"Anong ibig mong sabihin?" mahinang bulong ni Peniel dito.

"When I saw the victim's body a while ago, his hair and his neck were still wet, and his fingers too... so that means, the one who used the laptop wasn't him."

"I-ibig mo bang sabihin, hindi nagpakamatay yung lalaki?" malakas na tanong ni Peniel dito na ikinatingin naman ng ibang police officers na nasa loob ng kwarto.

"That's highly probable especially because I saw a red mark on his neck."

"Ha? Anong red mark?"

Razor touched his lips and gestured a flying kiss to Peniel. "A kiss mark, my dear."

"What? A-Alam na ba ni Detective yung napansin mo?"

"Nah, I'm sure they've already known such obvious fact."

Pareho silang napatingin kay Detective na inuutusan na ang mga officers na i-test for DNA samples ang mga nasa mesa including the laptop Razor used a while ago.

"Huh?"

"Why?" Razor asked Peniel whose forehead curled.

"Where's that police officer?" mahinang bulong ni Peniel na umabot naman sa pandinig ng Razor.

"Who are you referring to?"

"Ahh... wala, hehe baka bumaba lang siguro..." sagot na lang nito na ipinagkibit-balikat naman ni Razor.

"Don't tell me, you're looking for a good-looking officer while I'm here?"

"Ha? Hindi ah! Huwag ka ngang judgmental!"

Tinawanan naman ni Razor ang pagnguso ni Peniel sa kanya. Maya-maya pa'y lumapit na sila sa masungit na Detective. "We'll go now Detective. We'll just come back here tomorrow or go straight at the station to help you solve the case."
