UNEXPECTED

Chapter two- The date

To say I was shocked was an understatement I never expected for Kyle Davies the school quarterback to talk to me of all people considering everyone labelled me a nerd, he didn't just speak to me though he asked me out on a date!
After agreeing to go on the date with Kyle I knew I had to tell Hanna and Michelle about it, all though Michelle seemed pretty weird with me and Hanna lately she would disappear at break and lunch and she would always cry when Claire and her little side kicks use to say stuff but now she laughs at what they are saying about us when she thought me and Hanna wasn't looking but I saw and I was going to get to the bottom of this. It was lunch now and I was so excited to finally tell them that Kyle asked me out, but when I got to our table surprise surprise Michelle wasn't there once again.

"Where's Michelle, Hanna?"

"I'm not actually sure Ava, at the end of English she told me she had to go to the bathroom and would meet us here"

"Don't you think she's being a bit strange with us lately? I mean she's always missing at lunch and break?"

"Actually now you mention it, in English she normally sits with me but today she was sitting with Claire and Claire wasn't even being horrible to her she was just picking on me and Michelle was laughing with her"

"Let's go and see if she's actually in the bathroom shall we?"

"Yeah because she's being a total bitch lately"

Me and Hanna left the lunch room and walked towards the toilets and we when pushed the door up there was Michelle dressed in probably the most sluttiest outfit ever.

"I should have guessed all along you was a back stabbing bitch Michelle"

"Oh please Ava you actually thought I would stay with you and Hanna" all the girls laughed along with her.

"No I knew you would eventually leave, what do you actually achieve by going with Claire and her little sidekicks?"

"Well one I can finally get Kyle the boy I've always wanted because being in your little group wasn't getting me anywhere with him and well we are just so much popular than you"

"Such a shame Kyle and me are going on a date tonight" I smirked at Michelle.

"You're lying" you could tell by Michelle's face she was so angry.

"I'm really not, Kyle asked me in class earlier"

"You bitch you will regret this, I will get Kyle"

"I'm sure you'll get Kyle Michelle, because you always get what you want after a while don't you"

"I do and Kyle is and definitely will be one of them"

Me and Hanna walked out the room, and back towards the lunch room.

"I can't believe she would do that to us Ava"

"Don't worry about it Hanna, Michelle has always been like them, we are better off without her"

"I suppose you're right Ava"

After the little incident in the toilet, we hadn't bumped into Michelle and that was a good thing, I was super excited about getting home I couldn't wait for my date with Kyle. Once school had finished I rushed out the door and towards my car, just as I was about to get in Dean, one of Kyle's friends stopped me.

"Hey Ava"

"Oh hi Dean, are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm good thanks, I was just wondering if you had anything planned tonight?"

"I do actually I'm going out with Kyle"

"As in Kyle Davies"

"Well that is the only Kyle Davies that goes to our school"

"Why him, you do know he just wants to sleep with you and then he will ditch you like everyone else"

"Why are you telling me this Dean?"

"Because its the truth, everyone always chooses Kyle and he's the biggest bastard going, do you really think its going to work out between you two?"

"I don't know, but nobody knows what's going to happen do they?"

"You're going to regret dating him Ava, he will just break your heart like every other girl"

"Well I'll guess I'll just take the risk then won't I?"

Dean didn't respond and just walked away, well that was strange. Me and Dean had been getting along quite well lately, he drove me home when my car hadn't been working for the week. He's even been to my house. I think if Kyle hadn't asked me out I would have gone out with Dean but Kyle asked me so I agreed.

I got back in my car and was home in record speed, my mom and dad wasn't there again but that's no surprise they are never home. I rushed to my room and stated looking through my wardrobe. I decided to choose a black play suit, it showed a bit of my belly but was joined at the back, I wore my hair down and wavey applied a bit of make up and put on my gladiator sandals. I thought it looked okay so I was going with it.

I walked back downstairs and sat on the sofa, 20 minutes later the door bell rang, I walked towards my front door and pulled it open. Kyle was standing there in dark washed jeans, white vans and a white t shirt with a black leather jacket he looked hot.

"Hi Kyle"
