Chapter twenty-one- Text again?

I hadn't gone back that night I decided to leave the next day, after reading through the letter Kyle had written everything he left me, Hunter, his mom, North and Brice. I was shocked that he even had that much because I certainly didn't think he was, I mean I knew he had money but not that much. River still didn't know I was coming home because I was going to surprise him tomorrow I just hoped he would take me back. I was packing all our stuff together when my phone beeped signalling a message, I scrolled down and saw it was that number again.

"Ava, my sweet Ava not much longer now until you and I will be together i can't wait to see you and I know you can't me. Remember we always did love each other"

I've had it with these strange messages I was going to tell river straight away so he could sort it out, they was freaking me out big time and I didn't know what to do. I looked over at Hunter who was standing in his crib holding on to the bars. Big slobbery dribble coming out his mouth.

"Dada, dada"

It was hard for me to hear Hunter call his dad, they had such a close bond and I knew it would always be that way even if Kyle had passed.

"Want to go home baby" I asked him, in what I attempted a baby voice.

"Dada dada"

"River baby, you want to see river?"

He smiled at me, at least there was a smile I've mentioned rivers name to him twice before maybe a few days after Kyle passed and he cried his eyes out.

"Riv?"

Oh my, my baby was trying to say rivers name.

"Mama"

"I'm right here. We need to get you dressed and then we will leave"

I was all packed now, Brice was holding Hunter while I packed everything into the car. I walked over and hugged Hanna and thanked her for letting me stay, I then took Hunter and hugged Brice.

"I promise I'll come see you both again soon. I've just got problems at home with River and they need to be sorted first"

"We understand Ava, we love you. Call me later"

"I will bye guys"

Hunter got his little chubby hands and started waving bye as well. I strapped him in and we was off. Back to River we go.
