UNEXPECTED

Chapter seventeen- The call

Kyle was back home now and had been for a month, he was recovering well. Brice had taken over Kyles pack until he got better and Hanna was helping look after Kyle as I lived an hour and 45 minutes away. I was playing with Hunter when my phone started ringing.

"Hello?"

"My sweet Ava, I know where you and I also know your motives, I'm also pretty sure you will know my motives soon as well. You take my breathe away and I'll soon take yours"

I've had enough of these strange messages and now a call.

"Stop fucking calling me you creep"

And with that I hung up the phone, River must have heard me because he was next to me in a second.

"Who was that Ava? and don't fucking lie to me"

I was going to have to tell him now.

"When I tell you please don't be mad"

"Just tell me Ava!"

"I few weeks back I received a text telling me that I may have left Kyle but I wouldn't be able to leave him and without him I'm always in danger. Then I just keep receiving texts at all the time off the day, like good morning beautiful and we will be together soon so I just left them and now he just called me"

"Who's he?!"

"I don't know, that's why I'm telling you I've been getting these strange messages river!"

"It has to be somebody you know!"

"I don't know river!"

I had enough of him always doubting me continuously and if I didn't leave the room I would end up saying something I regret.

"I'm going out"

"Ava we haven't finished with the conversation!"

"Well I've just made it finished!"

And with that I picked up Hunter and walked out of the bedroom with an angry alpha following behind me.

"I'm fucking fed up Ava! Were mates, we haven't done anything most mates are mated within hours of meeting each other and I get stuck with a frigid mate who keeps secrets from me just what I need"

Did he really just say that?! Without even noticing tears began to fall from my eyes. My own mate had said this about me.

"You know what I give up with you too, I don't want you as a mate, and if you think I could ever love you, you have another fucking thing coming!"

I walked down the stairs towards the front door.

"Ava where the fuck are you going! You don't get to say that to me and walk away"

I turned around.

"Watch me!"

And I walked out the front door, I could tell River was fuming, you could sense the angry coming off him.

"AVA GET THE FUCK BACK HERE NOW!"

"NO!"

I attempted to climb in the car but river had grabbed Hunter off me.

"Give me Hunter now!"

"You want to leave, fine go. But you aren't taking Hunter"

"And that's you're decision"

"Yeah it fucking is when it's my pack"

"I won't leave him!" I was full on crying now. I must have been coming on to my period I couldn't stop crying.

"Then get the fuck in our house, in to the bedroom now!"

I had no choice but to listen to what he said, I knew he wouldn't let me leave with Hunter. I would have only drove around for a bit. He was so bloody controlling!

"I'm taking Hunter to my mom and then me and you will be having a chat!"

"Okay" I said sniffly.

I walked up towards our bedroom and sat on the bed. 2 minutes later River walked in.

"We are going to solve our problems tonight and nobody is leaving until they are resolved. Do you understand?"

"Yes"

Here goes nothing..

We had been talking for about 20 minutes and nothing had been resolved. I could really see us ending.

"What do you hate so much Ava? Like you must hate something that much to be the way you are towards me!"

"I hate living in the pack house for one! There's no privacy. I want our own house, River when we have children of our own do you expect to raise them here?! Because I won't raise my children in a house full I people, I won't out own space! You are so demanding and controlling plus possessive it annoys me to no end and if you don't change I won't be here anymore"

"We would of had our own house by now if you had let me mark you from the start. We have our own house I'm just not allowed to live it in until I've marked my mate and with you that seems impossible. We've shared about two kisses Ava and I'm not pushing you for more but you should have been marked by now"

"I want to be marked River, I do. It's just I'm scared of the consequences of what might happen"

"Like what Ava? Because nothing will change I promise you"

I looked at him sheepishly and he instantly knew I was talking about Kyle.

"Kyle. I don't understand why you are still so in love with him Ava. We've been dating for like nearly 5 months and you talk to Kyle all the time on the phone, you visit him. It fucking annoys me! Why do you do that"

"River he was my husband for 6 months and my first everything. We was dating for 6 years and have a child you come around and demand I leave him to be with you. I broke his heart. He doesn't run his pack anymore, because he just can't seem to reach his wolf since I've left, you're pack members feel like need to rub it in his face every time they see him. So I'm sorry if I still love Kyle. But I don't love him the way I use to, not since you came around anyways! I will always care for him"

"I understand Ava, but you need to understand every little thing you do that involves Kyle, he thinks that he still has some chance with you and you're basically letting him think that. You need to tell him it's over you're with me and its going to stay that way"

"I know! And I know where you coming from, I'm sorry I've hurt you but I just hate seeing him so emotional. I never know what he will do now I'm not there"

"Ava I'm not saying to cut all ties with him because he is hunters dad you just have to tell him"

"I will, just give me a week. Hunter will be down at Kyle's and then I'll speak to him there okay"

"Okay, now lets start our relationship from the beginning no more arguing"

"Okay" I smiled at him. I decided to kiss him and he was shocked but he soon kissed back and let's just say that lead to a very heated heated make out.
