Chapter fourteen- River's P.O.V

I could tell that sometimes Ava still missed Kyle, I knew she would, they was dating for 6 years and married for 6 months, plus they had a child together. I know this may sound bad but she's my mate and he isn't having her back plus I would never let her go. At first I didn't like the fact that she was married and had a child with somebody else but she's so beautiful and loving, caring that I don't even care. The pack had warmed up to her and my mom loves her, she knows all about Kyle and Hunter and doesn't even care I thought my mom would tell me to reject her but nope she loves Ava and even classes Hunter as her grandson, when ever hunter isn't with Kyle and he's here my mom will just come right in and take him from Ava, it's kind of strange really.
Ava had just been introduced to the pack, and everyone loved her, I made the mistake of calling her Ava Davies but I soon changed it when I had to introduce her again and then she went and pissed me off by calling herself Ava Davies. I don't want her to have his name anymore and I'm certainly calling my lawyer so she can get a divorce the quick that happens the quicker she will be Ava Michaels.
I could tell Ava was also pissed at me but I didn't give a fuck, she needs to learn I'm now her alpha and won't take disrespect well, its in my nature not to take it well. I would be talking to Ava tonight about that. Actually where even was she?

"Mom, have you seen Ava"

"Yes dear, she's in you're room. Somebody rang her and she said it was important"

No doubt it was Kyle. He had been calling her non stop since she had left him, he really does need to move on.
I walked into our bedroom to see Ava laughing at something on the phone she obviously heard me because she turned around.

"I've got to go Kyle, I'll see you when I come and get hunter. Say good night from mommy and I love him"

Ava hung up the phone and looked at me.

"I've had enough of this" I said. It was time we had a talk about Kyle.

"Had enough of what river?"

"You and Kyle. You've fucking split up, yet you still both act as if you're together. I won't take it anymore Ava. You're my mate and will start listening to me"

"River are you forgetting I'm Human, you're alpha tone doesn't work on me and I'm not even allowing you to talk to me like that either. You say I'm you're mate yet you tell me how to live my life! If I want to speak to Kyle I will and you won't stop me. Plus we have a child together what did you expect me to do just leave him uninvolved. News flash river you're not his dad and never will be!"

Well that hurt. I obviously didn't want to take Kyle's place as Hunters dad but I would raise him as my own and the fact that Ava just said that, well that's a kick to the gut.

"You know what Ava, I'm so fucking done. When its time to pick Hunter up I'm going to go while you stay here"

"No!" Ava replied back just as angrily.

"Ava I'm pissed off and a pissed off alpha is not a nice alpha, it's an alpha that will do things to make you submit to me because at the moment you're attitude is offending me"

"Oh really?! Well what will you do then? Because right now you're pissing me off and I'm just about to punch you in the face"

"Oh I don't know, maybe mark you! And punch me in the face" I started laughing. "I love to see you try"

I obviously didn't see, but Ava pulled her fist back and slammed it straight into my nose she then kicked her foot straight into my private parts. Oh she had really done it now.

"You won't tell me what to do river, because I've just proved to you that it doesn't affect me what you say. Just because we are mates doesn't mean I will submit to you like a fucking little slave!"

I was still laying on the floor injured because she had kicked me there, she also had a very hard punch for a human, all while she walked out of the room and down towards my mothers room I was guessing who was probably sitting in there laughing at the fact Ava had just done this to me.
It was going to be a lot harder than I thought to get Ava to submit to me.
I had a long way ahead. Just fucking great.
