Chapter eight- Alpha Beech

Kyle and I had been married for 2 months now and life was great, today was a big day for Kyle as the Alpha Beech, alpha of dark moon pack was coming to visit us today. Kyle was nervous as well as excited. Alpha River Beech had the biggest pack in America, he was ruthless, fearless and everybody was scared of him, but Kyle said they've known each other for a while and because River had just heard about us getting married and that we've got a baby he wants to come and meet us. I was nervous as well because I didn't really know what to expect. Kyle had told me that river was coming into town because he was looking for his mate anyways, somebody he had been searching for, for a very long time, if he would actually tell me what a mate meant.

"Ava he's going to be here in 5 minutes. Can you get Hunter ready babe?"

"I am, I'm just changing his diaper"

As I was doing the diaper up I heard the door bell ring, I'm guessing that was Alpha Beech.

Alpha Beech P.O.V

Ever since we had arrived outside Alpha Davies house my wolf was going crazy. He kept trying to say mate but I knew that was no hope as we've been looking for the last 8 years. You're meant to find your mate when you are 18 but I'm not 26 and still mateless. If I didn't have a mate in the next month the council had decided they was pairing me with someone which I really didn't want to happen so I came searching and thought I would stop off and go see Kyle who was a friend. I heard he had got married a few months ago and apparently she was beautiful. I would soon see for myself.

"Hi river, how are you?"

"Kyle, long time no see man"

"I know, my wife Ava and son Hunter will be down soon"

He lead me into the sitting room and asked me if I wanted a drink, I declined plus I wasn't staying for long.

'She's here, she's here. Mate, mate mate'

"Has Ava got a sister or friend here?"

"Nope, Ava is an only child, why?"

"Oh I thought I heard somebody else's voice"

"Nope that would just be Ava entertaining Hunter, she puts on weird voices all the time so he finds it funny and can't stop laughing"

'She's here, she really is'

'Quit it Ryder, it's only her wife'

For the next 5 minutes Ryder my wolf kept repeating mate, mate, mate in my head. I heard footsteps coming down the stairs and a baby's laugh. This was obviously the wife and baby.
When she walked in it was like my whole world stop, she was there right in front of me, my... Mate.
Shit!
How was I meant to have her as a mate when she was married to another alpha and had his baby. I didn't care though, I found her and now I've found her I have to have her.

Ava's P.O.V

Kyle looked up at me.

"Ava meet River"

I walked over and held my hand out to shake, he put his hand out and shook mine, sparks flew up my arm. Wait sparks, that shouldn't happen.

"Hi I'm Ava, Kyle's wife and mother of this cutie Hunter"

"Nice to meet you"

I handed Hunter over to Kyle and walked to the kitchen, I heard Kyle talking but couldn't make out what he was saying. Next thing I know I felt hands around my waist I turned around quickly and River put his fingers to my lips as a sign to be quite.

"I hope you know I'm not about to let you go now I've found you"

"Excuse me?!"

Shocked this man in front of me saying he wasn't about to let me go.

"I'm married and have a child, not about to start a affair"

"Did I mention an affair, you're my mate and I want you"

"I don't even know what a mate is?"

"Surely Kyle would have told you?"

"No, it isn't something we talk about"

"Strange, Kyle must have a mate. Yet he's got a child and married to you?"

"What is that suppose to me?"

"He should have a wolf mate, yet he's with a human. And she's either dead or he hasn't met her yet. But when he does you will be gone. He will always choose her over you"

"I think you should leave"

"You're mine Ava and I'm not leaving this state until you come back to Texas with me"

"Fuck you River, I won't leave Kyle"

"That just made me want you all the more"

He leant forward and kissed my lips! What the heck was this man doing, even though it felt nice, nice! I got my mind back and pushed him off me!

"You can't do that, I'm married"

"And I don't give a fuck"

With that he walked out of the kitchen and back to the sitting room, I heard him tell Kyle he had to go, and he was gone. I walked out of the kitchen and to Kyle.
He looked up and smiled at me.

"He nice ain't he"

"Yeah, he's nice. You know I love you Kyle forever"

"I love you forever too Ava"

But I knew this was just the beginning.
