His POV
"Oh, look at her" my friend said taking a sip of his drink and checking out some girl. She was really pretty though, like the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. "She's cute right?" Cute was an understatement.
"Yeah, she's really cute"
"You should go talk to her, dude" He said pointing to her. She was talking to her friend and laughing, her smile could make the sun jealous. Her laugh and smile looked genuine, it wasn't forced. I wondered why she was here at house party with drinking and a lot of sexual contact between people, she didn't belong here.
"I don't know" I hesitated. "She looks to good for me"
"Are you kidding dude, go talk to her" My other friend said patting my back and pushing me towards her direction. I looked back at him and he nodded. My friends started to hype me up about it and I took a deep breath before heading towards her.
"You got this"
I walked her way, my nerves rising as her friend walked away, leaving her standing there alone with a cup in her hand.
"Uh, hey" I say as I stood infront of her. Her eyes met mine and she smiled at me, making my heart flutter.
"Hi"
"I'm Nik" I smiled leaning against the wall, taking in her beautiful features.
"I'm Y/n" Her name was even pretty.
I looked over at my friend and he just held his thumbs up. "I've never seen you around before" I said.
"I just moved here from y/h/t (your home town"
"Oh well if you ever need someone to show you around town, I'm here" she smiled at my offer.
"That'd be great" she is literally perfect, everything from her kind personality to her looks.
"What are you drinking?"
"Water"
"Really? No one really comes to a party and drinks water"
"Someone has to be a designated driver" I'm kinda glad that she wasn't drinking, so we could remember meeting each other sober.
"Fare enough" I smiled."I don't really like to drink that much either" I looked over at my friend who was smiling like an idiot wiggling his eyes brows, I mouthed a 'stop'.
"Is that your friend over there?" She asks pointing to my friend that was making weird faces and gestures at me. I looked over to him and he scratched the back of his head awkwardly and waved. I chuckled a little.
"Yeah, sorry he's weird sometimes" I said and she giggled, I loved that sound.
She looked behind me where her friend was gesturing for them to go, I was sad I didn't get to talk to her anymore.
"I have to go" she sighed and sent me a sympathetic smile as she walked away.
"Wait will I see you again?" I asked, she turned around and looked me with her bright beautiful eyes.
"Definitely" She said.
I watched her walk away, a big smile on my face. I turned around to see my friends standing there smirking and I walked towards them.
"Awe you love her"
"Shut up"

"Baby, your really driving me mad"
I couldn't stop thinking about her the whole week. I would be sitting in class and her smile would just run through my mind.
I got excited as the next Friday rolled around, meaning the next party. Hopefully she'd be there and we could talk more.
I showed up to the party and there was already a lot of drinking and dancing as the party had started almost two hours ago.
"Hey Nik" my friend said getting my attention. "She's here" he pointed to the girl that I couldn't stop dreaming about.
"Yeah, talk to her dude" One of my other friends said. Of course I agreed, wanting to get to know Y/n more.
I walked over to her and she caught my gaze, a smile appearing on her face. "I was hoping I'd see you here" I said.
"Me too"
"How come I don't ever see you at school?" I asked.
"I have a late in and an early out" That makes sense and she seems smart so she's probably in all AP classes. "I already have most of my credits"
"Oh, well we should hang out sometime, like not a party" She laughs and nods her head in agreement, her eyes twinkling.
"Yeah, we should"
We talked a lot that night and I got know her and she is actually a really great person. She's so sweet and actually funny. We also have a lot of things in common like our TikTok addiction (mood). And we exchanged numbers, setting a date to hang out tomorrow night.
I got sad as the night came to an end as her friend once again said she wanted to leave now. "I'll see you tomorrow then" She leaned in for a hug, literally it was the best hug ever, even with the extreme height difference that actually made it better.
"See ya, Y/n" I said and she smiled at me after letting go of the hug, waving as she walked away. I sighed in content.
