"y/n -" alex began
y/n ignored him and continued throwing dresses into her suitcase emptying the wardrobe.
"please listen to me" alex followed y/n around the room "y/n"
"you had your time, alex. I was willing to listen. but all you would do is get drunk and sulk" y/n snapped
he was taken aback by her sudden lash out. His head dropped in guilt, his eyes glistened with light tears
"y/n, darling" alex tried to hold her hand but she pulled it back "i'm sorry i was a mess"
y/n was firm. she narrowed her eyes further and folded her hands across her chest. she loved him. she cared for him. she knew he did too. but the past few weeks.. were different. he grew distant and cold. he wouldn't call or show up on dates. there was some problems going on with the album release and the album which the monkeys had worked hard for almost 3 years - now might not be released. alex had not spoken a word about it to y/n. she only found out when jamie's wife katie told her about it.
"i shouldn't have to find out about this like that" y/n stated
"i know. i was sorting it out." he whispered
"i could have helped. or atleast talking to me - or as a matter of fact talking to someone would have helped, getting drunk wouldn't " she sighed
"i know. i'm really very sorry. i just wasn't thinking very clearly. please let me explain now " alex pleaded
alex looked into her eyes lovingly and held her hands. only this time, she didn't fight it. reluctantly, she struggled the urge to tell him "it's going to be okay" he had to learn a lesson. her arms draped around him, his face on crook of her neck
"are you gonna say something?" his warm breath mumbled
She was starting to crumble. She couldn't be angry at him anymore. they both knew this
"fine. explain" she withdrew her hands and sat on the bed
As he was done explaining, he sighed "please don't leave. I'm sorry"
"I forgive you" y/n hugged him
