Nanlaki ang mga mata ko sa binasa. Agad akong lumingon kay Kale at mas lalong nagulat nung nakita ko siyang nakaluhod sa harap ko na may singsing na hawak habang nakangiti.

"Liliana Madeline A. Dela Fuentes, will you marry me?"

My hands still covered my mouth from shock. Unti-unti nagproseso sa utak ko ang mga salitang binigkas niya. This is what I've been waiting for! Yung alukin niya ako nang kasal!

"Yes!" sagot ko, sabay ng sunod-sunod na tango. "Yes, I will marry you,"

Lumawak pa ang ngiti ni Kale at tumayo para isuot ang napakagandang singsing sa kamay ko. It's rose gold, with a beautiful diamond in the middle. It looked really expensive and it's... mine. It's my engagement ring. I'm engaged to him.

He cupped my face and kissed me. I responded back with the same passion that he gives me, while wrapping my arms around his nape. He's a lot taller than me, so he crouched down a little so he could reach my height.

Bumitaw siya sa akin at sinandal ang noo niya sa akin at ngumiti, habang may malalim na tingin sa mga mata ko.

"I'm gonna make you a Buenavista, soon. I promise."

I chuckled. "I can't wait." I said, before kissing him again.

It was as if all my dreams and aspirations have been fulfilled. This is what I always wanted. To live a happy life with the man I love, to reach my dreams of being a doctor and to live my life, free of all the pain that continues to hurt me.

What else could go wrong, right?

"Wanna get married next year?"

We are sitting by the swimming pool, admiring the view in front of us. The night sky looks so vastly and beautiful from here. I felt like we are on top of a mountain, on this large, modern mansion.

"Sure, after our first year?" sabi ko.

He nodded. He had his arms around me, while my head is resting on his shoulders.

I suddenly remembered my brother! Masyado ata akong nasiyahan na kasama si Kale na nakalimutan ko na siya, kailangan ko pa naman bantayan kase mukhang may kalokohan na pinagagawa ang batang 'yon! At saka, wala pa naman kasama 'yun!

"Wait, si Theo! Walang kasama!" sabi ko at umayos ng upo.

"Don't worry. Theo texted me. He'll be sleeping over at Carter's." sabi niya.

He texted Kale and not me? Me, na kapatid niya na dapat siyang bantayan?

"How sure are you that he is telling the truth? Paano kung nagsisinungaling lang 'yung batang 'yun?!" I said, panicking a little.

He chuckled and massaged my shoulders to calm me down. "Relax, Prince went home today. I told him to guard your brother. Sinabi ko sa kanya na wag paalisin ng bahay nila hangga't hindi ka pa nakakauwi."

I nodded, finally calming myself. Mabuti naman din at umuwi si Prince sa kanila, panigurado nag dinner na naman siguro sila, as a family.

"When do you want to start preparing for the wedding?" he suddenly asked.

Tumingin ako sa kanya na may ngiti. "Kakapropose mo pa nga lang sa akin, iyon na agad iniisip mo? You really wanna marry me na, huh?" nakangisi kong sabi.

He leaned a little bit, looking at my eyes again.

"Of course, kung pwede na nga ngayon, gagawin ko na eh,"
