Maddie POV: I was in my room getting ready for the gala, I had to hurry, for people were already starting to arrive. Ms. Lucinda was helping me with my make up. I never really wore makeup before so I didn't know what I was doing, so she offered to help. She's really good too, we were putting the finishing touches on, when dad walked in my room.

"Maddie, people have arrived are you almost done—" he stopped and looked at me. "Wow. Maddison, you look beautiful." He came over and took a closer look "Your dress is beautiful, you are beautiful Principessa." I blushed. "Are you almost ready, everyone is downstairs waiting for your reveal."
"Ya dad I'm ready, just nervous." I replied.
"Don't be sweetie you're going to do great." I walked with him out my door. Kade and Sam were standing there. "I thought Kade and Sam could escort you down the stairs, if your okay with that." I nodded.
"Well m'lady are you ready?" Sam said in a funny old timey voice, holding out his hand to take.
I grabbed his hand and Kade's hand. "Why thank you kind sirs" I replied back in the same old timey voice. We all chuckled.
