Maddie POV: It's been a month since I was rescued from Ivanov, and winter break just started. I was so excited, my favorite holiday, Christmas was coming up. Mirabella and I were on our way to the store to get a new dress. Apparently my family also hosts a Christmas Gala. They just love galas. I was exited because I knew Elena would be attending. We have still be talking in secret, except for some of our brothers who knew.
Mirabella wanted to take me dress shopping, to have some "Girls Day" as she called it. My mom and I used to have girls day a lot, well to be honest everyday was a girls day. We arrived at the mall and parked the car.
We walked into a dress store and told me "I'll help you pick some dresses out!" I nodded, she probably wasn't going to be able to find one I liked though, I had simple taste and she seemed like the kind of women to be flashy.
We were shopping and she was showing me a bunch of dresses I kept rejecting, I wasn't trying to be mean, they just weren't for me. After a bit she showed me this red shiny fabric dress, I was prepared to hate it, but I didn't. I actually really liked it. She handed it to me to try on. After I got it on I walked out of the changing room.
"Wow, you look amazing. Do you like it?" Mirabella told me. I nodded. "Perfect, the boys and your father are gonna love it."

We checked out and we were walking around the mall, when I saw a really nice paint set in the window of a store. I stopped to look at for a second, then picked up the pace to meet back up with Mirabella. The rest of the day we were getting Christmas presents for everyone. I decided to get Elena a Tiffany necklace with a heart.

I got presents for all my brothers and father, and even sneaked a present for Mirabella. We got back to the car when Mirabella realized she forgot something. She told me to wait in the car and lock the door, for my safety, as she walked back into the mall. She came back less than ten minutes later with a bag.
She got back in the car and started the engine. "What did you forget?" I asked.
"Oh, nothing, I just needed to buy some tissue paper and gift bags." She replied.
We drove back to the house and I noticed it was covered in Christmas decorations. "Wow they've been busy." Mirabella and I both laughed at my comment.
"Come on let's hide these presents in your closet so the boys don't find them!" She whispered and we sneakily made our way through the house. The house was also covered in Christmas decorations. Valentino Christmas doesn't mess around.
