"home sweet home." (y/n) managed to sigh out of her mouth despite the extreme tiredness running through her veins due to the event that has occurred today. of course, they always give their all towards their work, but since it was an annual event, they had to work twice as hard than before. the (h/c)nette was used to it, but that doesn't mean she wasn't feeling any exhaustion.

beside her was the ash blonde who had his eyes locked on her tired figure. sighing, he pulled her closer to his side and planted a soft kiss on her temple as a rare smile crept up his lips. "great work out there, (y/n). take lots of rest. a-and thank you... for today."

hearing bakugou's voice trailing off caused (y/n) to chuckle in a teasing manner as she gave his spiky hair a ruffle, saying, "thanks, and you're welcome. i guess i'll see you around, katsuki."

the explosion-quirked male's tight grip on the detonation-quirked female's shoulder started to loosen, meaning it was her cue to finally head to her room, prepare for bed, and rest for the rest of the night. however, as bakugou watched how her figure disappeared from his sight, he clicked his tounge and frowned while he lowered his head.

he felt happy, for he got the time to resume his date with her, but now that it's done, he wanted more, like as if he always wants to be glued with her every now and then despite her annoying him purposely. sure, he was irritated by (y/n)'s actions and words of mockery, but he'd be lying if he aaid that he wanted it to end.

on the other hand, instead of doing her before bed routine, (y/n) immediately crashed herself with her aromatic cushions, groaning here and there because of body pain and an excruciating headache she felt. she was unable to think straight at the moment. all she wanted to do for tonight is to have a nice rest for an energized mood tomorrow, but the pain she felt never subsided, keeping her wide awake. i hate this.

without bothering to lift her head from her sheets, she fished her phone out of her sling bag to check what was up with her social media accounts, yet instead of pressing on one of the media's applications, her finger intentionally pressed on her messaging app.
