Too much convincing

Sadhvi's POV

I stared and stared a little long.

Since no one was speaking what else was I supposed to do?

I had to do it anyways. I had to make them talk.

I stared at the face of my sister, Meheka wouldn’t dare to meet my eyes and I was imagining worst out of the situation.

My mind was reeling with a good threatening speed. Scaring my being.

Avesh was non-passive too, no expression nothing at all. I stood there for what felt like fifteen minutes when I lost my patience.

“Please one of you speak or I am imagining the worse”

Avesh opened his mouth and uttered,
“it isn’t like what you are thinking”

I raised a hand in front of his face stopping him,
“You don’t know what I am thinking and at this moment I would really appreciate if I hear everything out of my sister’s mouth.”

I looked at my sister who was still hiding behind Avesh’s back and was scared to meet my eyes.

“She owe me this much atleast” with this sentence she met my gaze and with the same shame filled her face she said,
“I am sorry didi”

“For what Meheka?”

“For hiding my feelings about my boss from you”

I opened my mouth to say something but shut it quickly. I looked around us, we were standing in front of my clinic gates before my ‘Lamaz’ sessions.

The mothers will be coming any moment now and I couldn’t afford to create a drama in front of my work place.

“Lets not talk about this here. Come, follow me.”

The ride from the basement to Rajveen’s, floor was painful for me, I was hyperventilating and I was certain they both were too.

“You guys go to the terrace, I need to handover this session to Rajveen”

They nodded without meeting my eyes and
I knocked on Rajveen’s door who busy assessing a patient,
“Can I talk to you for a minute?”

She nodded, reading the urgency on my face came out excusing herself from the patient.

I walked till the corner of her Yoga hall and faced the glass wall, she joined beside me within seconds and faced me,
“What happened?”

“Avesh is here”
I said nodding to myself

She gave me nothing waited for me to continue.

“He is here with Meheka and they want to talk about something related to the wedding”
I said with a blank face

“Okay. That’s perfect. What do you want me for?” she said with a little assuring face

Only if you know Rajveen

“Can you take over today’s session for me? Please?”
I turned to face her with pleading eyes

“There is more to it Sadhvi, right?” she said reading my face
