The bell rang and I looked up to see Hadley and they boys walk in. I turned around and took a deep breath, turning back around they had taken a seat in my section. 'Crap' I grabbed some menus and headed over, 'this will be interesting'
"Hello, here are your menus, what can I get you to drink?" I ask grabbing my note pad as they start to look at the menus
"Sprite" said Hadley
"A beer for me and him" Ryder pipped up
"Really guys? It's four o'clock in the afternoon" Hadley said face palming
"Coming right up" I speed walked away and into the back. I get their drinks and head back out "Here you go" I place the drinks in front of them
"Hey Tes, could I talk to you?" Hadley asked
"Yeah, let me go on break" I walk over and clock out handing the table over to Sarah. I walk into the parking lot with Hadley, I knew they guys could see us "Alright what is it?"
"Tessa, I had a very odd conversation with the librarian today. The one at the high school"
"How odd?" I asked
"Well, don't be mad"
"When you tell someone not to be made, they're going to get mad" I point out
"Ok. Well, I went searching through the year books, trying to find you" she fiddled with her hands "At first, I could not find you, but the librarian pointed you out. Under a different last name, Loset"
'What? She went snooping in my business?'
"Hadley" I snap, she took a step back "You went putting your nose where it didn't belong. Why would you do that? That's low" I pointed a finger at her
"Look I'm sorry" she throws her hands up "But I had to check something"
"And what was so important you needed to check out, that involved my personal life?" I shot throwing my hands in the air
"That Asher was Hazel's father" she throws her hands towards where Asher and Ryder sat inside the diner "And after the librarian told me a story about you disappearing your sophomore year, I finally connected the dots!" She was throwing her hands around now
"Whatever that librarian told you is a lie! And whatever dots you think you connected are wrong" I growl getting in her face "Stop searching for things that are not there" I started walking towards the diner, I could see the boys staring at us
"I think Hazel and you are in danger" she called out and I froze "The lady said to not tell anyone about Hazel, or who you really are. She didn't say why, but I think it's serious"
"I've made it this far" I call out "I don't need a kid's help" with that I walked back into the diner. The boys seemed to have gotten their food
Hadley walked in not long after, she sat down and started eating the food. I walked into the back, clocking back in. I stayed back there until they left. I split the tip with Sarah and then packed up to leave. I left work and went home, I changed into similar clothes to what I wore to my first race, but I brought a pair of sunglasses if I do get out of my care at all tonight. I also had combat boots on with a knife in my right boot

I arrived at the race, it was midnight almost and I parked my car. We were out in the desert this time, using an old dirt racetrack. I sat on the hood of my car after I signed in and just looked around at the people in front of me. There was a group of girls and guys talking loudly right next to me and I listened closely to their conversation
"I heard Jupiter and the Knight are in a gang"
"I heard that they run different gangs, but are allies"
"I heard Jupiter is cold hearted, he's been that way since he was young"
"I heard his love left him and he's been looking for her for years"
"That's just stupid, that guys been lonely for years. He doesn't even know what love is I bet"
"I wonder what it's like to be in bed with him" one of the girls gushed
"I've been in bed with him many times, it's amazing" That just pissed me off
I picked my knife out of my combat and flipped it in my hand before chucking it right at their feet. I did not even look, but I knew it landed in the middle of the group
"What the hell is wrong with you lady?" Snapped this girl who said being in bed with Asher was amazing
I turn my head and look over; I pulled my sunglasses down my nose looking over the group. I pushed my glasses back up and turned back to the races. I chuckle darkly as I smirk evilly
"You've never been in bed with him" I say "I bet your still a virgin" I laugh, she screamed
"How would you know? I have never seen you around here before. I bet you're the virgin in this conversation"
"So insecure" I shake my head "Only a virgin would us that comeback, by the way that sucked" she scoffed, and I continued to laugh as her friends tried not to laugh
I heard engines revving, I turn to my left to see Asher and Ryders cars pull up next to me. I held my breath, 'this girl going to say something. In three....' Asher got out of his car 'Two...' I watched him look over at my direction 'One'
