I knocked on the door harder, but I still got no answer. I looked at her car in the drive and sighed, where was she? I pulled out my phone and tried to call her again only for it to go to voice mail.

"Where the fuck are you, Tessa?" I said as I left another voice mail. I leaned against the door

I sent her another text and called again. I stood up straight when the call clicked, and I could hear breathing on the other end. I stared at the phone for a few seconds

"Hello?" I questioned "Tessa?"

"Hello Hadley Daniel" I froze at the man's voice, I have heard it before. I just could place were

"Where's Tessa?" I growled into the phone

"With me here"

"What have you done to them!" I yell, then it clicked "River Slaughter" I probably sounded more shocked than I meant to let on

"Bingo. Clever girl" he chuckled darkly

"Give them back River"

"Sorry I can't do that, I need them. Technically I only need the kid, the mom is just a bonus" I could feel him smirking through the phone

"We're going to find you; just wait till I tell Asher" I was growing angrier by the second

"Oh, don't worry about that, I'm just about to tell him" with that the call ended and I quickly scrolled through my contacts as I ran towards my car

I clicked Asher's name and pealed out of Tessa's driveway, I stepped on the gas and headed towards the gang house outside of town. I kept trying Asher, but it just turned to voice mail. What is with everyone and not having their phones on today. I gave up and tried my brother, he did not even answer. I am going to kill both. I pulled into the gang house driveway. I cut the engine and ran quickly inside.

"Asher!" I yell like a mad woman "Ryder! Hello?" I ran all over the house until I got to Asher office. I pushed the door open, and a pissed off Asher was sitting at his desk glaring at the computer screen

"I'm going to kill you River" he stood up, his head snapped to me

"He called you" I gasp "River called you? Please tell me you know he has Tessa and Hazel" I had tears in my eyes as I moved towards the desk

"No, he didn't call me" he turned back to the screen "He fucking emailed me" I looked over at the computer and I gasped as more tears fell from my eyes

"What has he done?"

I stared at a picture of Tessa in the back of a van, she was pale and had blood soaking her shirt. Hazel was crying holding her knees to her chest as she buried her head in between her legs. Tessa was hold her stomach with one hand as the other laid next to Hazel's feet

I read the caption below the photo and froze as more tears spilled 'Hope you like your dead girlfriend' I look up towards Asher as he grabbed his phone and started walking away

"What are you going to do?" I cry out chasing after him

"Save my kid and pray to go she's not dead" he walked out pulling the phone to his ear "I need everyone in the living room now!"

Tessa Winters

"Mamma!" I heard a voice scream; I opened my eyes and lifted my head slowly "Mamma" she cried as I look around the room panicked

"Baby?" I call out and stop when I spot her in the corner of the small room, she was in a small dog kennel "Hazel! Are you ok?" I ask frantically

"I want to go home" she cried

"I know baby, I know" I tell her as I pull and twist my arms trying to get out of the ropes "Hold on" I could hear her crying and it was breaking my heart

I thrashed around trying to free my arms, they had tied my legs to the legs of the chair. I was moving my whole body trying to move the chair over to Hazel, but it was like it was cemented to the ground. I stopped when a door slammed open, and I snapped my head towards the door in front of me. Also noticing a camera and laptop set up on a table

"I would stop trying if I were you" he growled as he walked closer to me "You not leaving" he gripped my hair and pulled it back

"Why are we here?" I snap looking him in the eye

"Simple, I want Asher's gang and my key" he smirked letting my hair go and walking towards the table as another man walks in

They talked quietly as they fiddled with the camera and laptop. Hazel has fallen asleep from exhaustion, she cried so much. I wanted to kill this badgered with my own hands. Eventually they left and I hung my head, god please help us. I prayed I would find a way out of here soon, or that someone would notice us gone.

My hair draped around my face as I hung my head and stared at the patched-up bullet wounds. At least they are nice enough to keep me from bleeding out
