Tessa Winters
"I'll see you later then?" Hadley said as she walked out my front door
"Yes. Noon at the diner on the other side of town" I answer and step onto the old creaky porch
"Alright sounds good" she smiled giving me a hug before heading towards her car.
"Bye bish" I yell, but it was cut off as a familiar car pulling up to the curve. We both froze as he stepped out
"We need to talk Tessa" is all I hear, and Hadley is turning to me
"We have nothing to talk about" I call "Bye Hadley" she continued to her car slowly and stared at me for a minute before driving away
"Oh, but we do" he started walking towards me
"I promise you; we have nothing to talk about. I barely know you" my heart was racing in my chest and I wasn't looking anywhere near him
"Funny" his laugh was so dry and sickening, my stomach was doing flips "Tessa Loset" he growled, this time I looked at him in shock
"W-w-What di-d you c-call me?" I stutter
"You thought you could move here, and I wouldn't find out who you were?" He cocked his head to the side walking closer to me, as I started backing up "You thought you could hide the fact that she's, my kid?" He pointed to the house
"She's not y-your-s" I stutter more and my back knock on the door as he climbed my steps
"Don't lie to me now Lesy" he mocked using my old nick name. He grows closer and I started freaking out all over again
"I-m not ly-ing" my stuttering getting worse "Stop" I put my hand out, it did nothing. He quickly grabbed my arms and pinned them above my head
"You want to try that again?" He snarled in my ear lowly "We can do this all day, but you won't like the way I'm going to get information out of you" his voice held a smirk, I knew it
"The neighbors are probably looking" I whispered, I did not want them to see what was happening. They may call the cops
"Let them" he brought down one of his hands and opened the door. Swiftly he pushed me in and slammed the door close
"You're going to wake Hazel" I scold, and he just laughed lightly
"So, you going to tell me the truth or do I need to get it out of you?"
"She's not yours" I try to say confidently but fail. He had let go of me while closing the door and I took that as my chance to make a dash up stairs
"Tessa, don't run" he sounded pissed, but I did not listen as I ran for my bedroom. Poor move "Tessa" he yelled running after me
"Stop, she's not yours! Leave me and her alone" I stopped and spun around as I realized my mistake. Mistake number one
He had me cornered. He walked into my room and closed the door making sure it was locked. He walked slowly in my direction, I backed up in response, and he only smirked. I looked at him confused before I felt the bed under my knees, he was so close now. He slightly pushed me into the bed and crawled on top of me
"Tell me the truth Lesy" he whispered in my ear
"I... am" I held in my breath as his fanned my neck
"Why so nervous suddenly? You did not used to be like this" he lightly kissed my neck; he knew it was my weakness "So tell me. Is Hazel my kid or not?"
"She is" I breath then stop when I realized my mistake. Mistake number two. He stopped and looked me in the eyes
"Was that so hard?" was all he said before crashing his lips on mine
I froze for a second trying to figure out what happened, he only deepened the kiss. Not long after I felt myself giving in and kissing him back with just as much force. It just felt so right, god I missed his lips. I wrapped my arms around his neck and tangled my fingers into his hair. He hands moved down my body to my hips, they slid up under my shirt and I gasped as his cold hands. He quickly shoved his tongue into my mouth. I moaned loudly
"Mamma?" I heard the voice of my sweat angel and I pulled away out of breath
"Yes baby?" I asked trying to catch my breath
"What are you doing? Why's the door locked?" She asked wiggling the door nob
"Hold on sweaty, I was just talking to a friend" I say and look over at Asher to see him smirking "Get off" I said pushing at him. He got off and I fixed my shirt
"Bossy" I heard Asher comment, but I ignored it to open the door for Hazel
"Hey" I said picking her up, she looks over my shoulder at Asher
"Why's he here?" I froze and just turned to Asher. I did not want her knowing yet
"I'm just a friend of your moms" he smiled "A longtime friend" he got up and walked over to us
"Your tall" she said looking up at him
"And your tiny" he said patting her head which made her giggle
"I want to be tall" she reached her arms out to him and he gladly took her from my arms and spun her around which made her laugh
I smiled at the seen in front of me. Now he knew about her, but I am still terrified about if someone finds out that she is his. They might try to take her to hurt him. That is what had scared me the most now, but for now I just smiled at them. They looked so much alike and had the same personalities
