"Disrespectful little shit" he gripped my chin tightly

"Go to hell" I spat, the look on his face gave it away. He was angry. Suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my right leg, and I screamed

"That'll teach you to act out again" he pulled the knife out before stabbing me in the stomach "Worthless whore" he snarled, and I dropped my head

Hazel was screaming and crying behind me, they had fed her some bread and that was it. I cried silently; he was not coming for us. No one was, I knew that now. It had been about a week and still nothing, I was giving up hope. I felt the ropes being removed from my body and I was suddenly picked up. My eyes slowly started to close at the lack of blood. Hazel's crying was the last thing I heard

The bad man opened the cage I was put in and smiled evilly at me

"Hello Hazel" I kept quiet "Will you not speak with me?"

"I want my mamma" I yelled in his face and he just laughed

"Well let's go see her" he grabbed my hair and started pulling me towards him

"Let go! You're hurting me" I cried

Soon I was lifted into his arms and I started screaming and kicking just like mamma said to do. We walked down a hall and entered a room that was smaller than the last. Mamma was laying on ground not moving, the bad man dropped me next to her and grabbed her hand in mine

"We get to talk to your father soon" I looked back over at the man "He must be losing his mind" he laughed again

"My d-dad?" I questioned. My dad did not want me, he left mamma

"Yes, Asher. You look so much like him it's unreal" he shook his head and stood up "You didn't know" shaking his head he walked away

What did he mean by I did not know? Why did he mention Ashy? Was he going to save us?

I sat at my desk with a blank look on my face as I stared at the picture River sent me, she could not be dead. There was no way, I would not believe it. I looked down at my phone as I got a notification, I froze when I read the text. I could tell it was from River, he wanted to video chat. I called in Hadley and Ryder, they stood behind me as I pulled up the information for the video chat. Holding my breath as I clicked answer to the oncoming call.

"Hello Asher, long time no see" river smiled sickly at me

"Where are they River?" I braked out glaring at him

"Oh, they're here. Would you like to see them?" I nodded quickly and he stepped back. I heard Hadley gasp and heard her walk away

"Oh my god" she whispered

In the corner of the room laid Tessa, he hands, and feet were tied together. She clothes were torn and covered in blood; her hair covered her face. I look closer and see Hazel holding her mom's hand just staring at her. I kept a blank look

"Give them back" I growled "Now!"

"Not so fast" he stepped in front of the camera again and shook his head "I want something in return for them" he smirked

"Anything" I said, and I felt Ryder grab my shoulder

"I want you to step down as leader of your gang and give it to me"

"Done" I nodded; I was not actually going to give it to him. He looked shocked before putting on a smile "Name a place and time and I'll be there"

"Good. There is a little farm west of the town, go there. Will make the trade at ten pm" he cut the call before I could say anything more

"What the hell are you doing?"

"I'm going to save my girls and maybe kill a guy or two" I got up "You are coming?" I question them as I stopped at the door

"I want them back" Hadley nodded and followed me out

"Anything for them" Ryder added as we left the house
