TITLE: Love, Dad
GENRE: Mystery
STATUS: For Sale
SUMMARY: My dad swore that he wouldn't have the time to make a different valentine's day card every year or that he would forget. So he hand wrote seventy cards, and tucked them in a drawer and told us every year to just pull out the one with the right date.
My dad died last year when he was coming home from work. His body never found. We held a funeral anyways. I cried.
This would be the first Valentine's day without him. My mom told me to go grab a card out of the drawer. I was reluctant at first, but went to go get one. Finding the right date I brought it downstairs, and sat on the couch with her.
She opened it. The letter slipping out easily. The first sentence of the letter wasn't as easy to read. Almost impossible to believe that he had written it. I wouldn't if it didn't have his signiture at the bottom.
"How is life without me?" It read.
Some people requested Mystery. Thoughts? And valentine's day is coming up soon! What are you going to be doing? Netflix will be my best friend.
