"How long does it take to get there" I asked
"30 minutes" he said
"I got time. All I gotta do is put my clothes on" I said as I finished my hair

"Are you sure it's open" I asked Melo as we pulled up to the restaurant. The curtains were closed and there were no cars around
"Yes" he said as he helped me out the car
"You sure they got good food? This bitch empty" I said as we walked into the restaurant
"I rented it out" he said nonchalantly
"You rented out a whole restaurant just for us to eat" I asked
"Yea, c'mon" he said as he lead me to a table in the middle of the restaurant
"Why'd you rent out a whole restaurant" I asked
"Cuz, I wanted tonight to be special and I didn't want random ass people annoying us" he said
"Okay" I said hesitantly. What is so special about tonight? It's not our anniversary or anybody's birthday, right?
We ordered our food and ate in silence
"Are you okay" I asked after we finished our meal
"Yea" he said
"Are you planning on like breaking up with me or something" I asked. Melo chuckled
"No, of course not. Actually, I wanna do the exact opposite" he said as he put money on the table and grabbed my hand. We walked to the car and drove for a while before arriving to the beach
