Josh left last month. Melo and Tori and everybody have been helping me out a lot. Benjamin is now 2 months and is getting so big and he smiles all the time, he has the chubbiest lil cheeks. He absolutely adores Melo and loves to facetime Josh. Today Melo and I are going out to lunch, I don't really wanna go but Melo's forcing me to go out. Melo and I aren't together right now, we're just really good friends but I'm not gonna lie I'm catching feelings for him.

"You have security guards coming right" I asked
"Yea" he said
"What if paparazzi show up" I said as I got nervous
"Then they show up" he said, i hit him in the arm
"Nigga. I don't want paparazzi all up in Ben's face" I said
"That's why we got security guards" he said
"Ok, but what if-" I began before he placed his hand on my thigh and squeezed it a little
"Will you stop worrying bout that. I gotchu and Ben, aight" he said.
"Why couldn't we just do uber eats" I said
"Cuz, you aint left the house in way too long" he said
"I- ugh, whatever" I said as he parked the car
"You want me to get the stroller" he asked
"Nah, I'll just carry him in the car seat" I said
"Aight" he said as he picked up the car seat and we began walking into the restaurant with two security guards. Once we reached our table Melo put the car seat down and took Ben out before sitting down with him in his lap
"On god, yo baby look white asf" Melo said as he began to laugh
"You say that, but you lighter then him" I said jokingly
"Yea, but I got the brown eyes and nice brown curly hair" Melo said
"His curls coming in" I said as I touched one of Ben's little curls as he smiled at me
"Hey bubba" I said as I tickled Ben's cheek
"Where he got blue eyes from" Melo asked
"My dad" I said
"So then where you got green eyes from" he asked
"My Meme" I said
"Who's that" Melo asked
"My dad's mom" I said
"How come I aint meet her" he asked
"She and Pepere live in France and their really old so they never visit" I said
"Oh" he said
"Yup" I said before the waiter came up and took our orders. Melo was bouncing his leg as Ben cooed happily before spitting up
"Melo, look what you done did to my baby" I said as I grabbed Ben and wiped his mouth
"Look what yo baby did to me" Melo said as he looked at his hand with spit up all over it in disgust. I chuckled before handing him a cloth to wipe himself up
The waiter came back with our food and we began to eat
After we finished I put Ben in his car seat and covered it with a blanket before we walked out.
"Melo, is this your son" Paparazzi asked
"Maribel, is this why you haven't been active on social media" another asked. Melo and I hurried to the car and put Ben in
"Where are you going" I asked as he went the wrong way
"To Target, you don't got enough snacks at yo house" he said
"Nigga, if you would stop eating all of them then I would have plenty" I said
"Snacks are meant to be eaten" he said
When we finally arrived to Target I took Ben out the car and he woke up and began crying
"Shhh" I said as I took him out the car seat and began rocking him
"Why is he still crying" Melo asked as we walked past the furniture
"He's hungry. Hold up, imma feed him while you get the snacks" I said as I sat down in a chair
"Ight" Melo said as he walked away. I went on my phone while Ben breastfed

"You ready" Melo asked as he walked up to me with a cart full of snacks. Ben had just finished eating and I was burping him
"Yea, wtf you got the whole damn store in the cart tho" I asked
"Cuz I'm a hungry boy" he said
"Yea, but you not a mother fucking sumo wrestler" I said
"Just c'mon" he said as he walked toward the register
"Aw, what a cute baby" the cashier said
"Thank you" I said
"How old is he" she said as she began scanning our items
"2 months" I said
"Aww, I remember my son when he was that little. Now he's 6 and don't know how to keep still" she said as she smiled
"Thinking of him getting old feels weird" I said as I chuckled a little
"Yea, I used to think the same thing. They grow up too fast" she said. I smiled as Melo paid and began putting everything in the basket
"Have a good day" I said to the cashier
"You too" she said as we walked away
Later that night
"Say, 'bye dada'" I said as I moved Ben's hand to make him wave goodbye to Josh on facetime
"Bye, love you" he said before hanging up
"C'mon bubby, time to go night-night" I said as I picked him up and went to bring him to his nursery. I sat in the rocking chair and fed him until he fell asleep. I placed him in his crib before turning on white sound and walking back to my room. Melo was sat on the edge of the bed when I walked in. He looked me up and down before pulling me close to him and resting his hands on my ass
"What are you doing" I asked
"Ion know, you just looked sexy today and I couldn't resist" he said as I wrapped my arms around his neck and pecked his lip before going to walk into my bathroom
"Uht uht, more" he said as he pulled me back and kissed me before moving down to my neck
"uht uht, we not bout to do all that. Goodnight" I said as I laid down
"I wasn't even bout to do all that, I was just kissing you" he said defensively
"Sure" I said sarcastically as Melo crawled on top of me and fell asleep
