"Mwah" I picked up Ben and tickled him as we waited for floats. Ben giggled and laughed

"Mommy" Ben asked as he hugged around my neck

"I love you so much" Ben said

"I love you more" I kissed his cheek and hugged him

"Okay, down" Ben said as he wiggled away from me. He's getting so big. He's just so grown up and tall, lowkey a bit of a struggle to pick him up

"Dance" Ben asked. He and I started dancing and swaying

"Yea, get it Ben, get it ma" Melo said as he started recording

"Aight they got a float comin, you ready" I asked Ben

"Yea up" I put him on my shoulders and waited while

"That's the last float" Melo asked

"Yea, but they got one mo parade before we go"

"Throw me" Ben yelled and screamed as the float threw him stuff. I stifled a laugh before putting him down as energy trucks and stuff passed. Ben, Zoey, and Roy went under the tent and started playing with toys

"Throw me something. Not throw me" I said as I laughed

"Yea, throw something. That what I say" Ben looked at me like I was crazy

"Boi, you aint say dat" Melo laughed and poked at Ben

"It's not like could hear" Zo said. Melo side eyed him and rolled his eyes

"Riri" my momma pulled me away from the rest of the group

"Wassup"

"What's wrong with Melo today? The whole vibe of your group's off"

"Just Kaliah started some shit. I finished it and went to sleep"

"Nah, but the whole group is mad at you and Melo"

"I thought it was just between Melo, Kaliah, and I"

"Tori" momma called. Tori walked over

"Why everybody mad at Melo and Riri"

"Oh, Kaliah confessed her feelings, Melo was tired of her bullshit and told her to basically shut the fuck up, Kaliah bucked Riri bucked. Riri went upstairs, Melo cussed everybody out and then went with her" Tori said

"Wait, Melo cussed yall out?"

"Mhm, he was like Denise, Kaliah, and Zo fucked up yata yata yata, then he was like fuck yall and gave us the finger and left"

"What Zo had to do wit it" momma asked

"That's what I'm wondering"

"Cause he brought them. And supposedly Kaliah hang out with them all the time so he shoulda known she still liked Melo"

"Oh damn, I aint know that part" I said. Momma nodded her head before we walked back to the group. I went over to Melo and hugged him

"You cussed em out" I whispered

"Mhm" he mumbled

"For me? Aww, got a lil soft spot fo me, huh Pookie?" I teased while kissing his face

"Yea, whatever. Love you" He gave me a kiss and hugged me tighter

"Love you too" I smiled and played with his lil beard. I hate his lil ratchet ass beard, look like he got pube hairs glued onto his chin. I'm just waitin for him to shave that ugly shit
