Falling for you

Confusion

Alison:
"Just me and you" I whispered to Emily and touched her shoulder because to be honest, I loved seeing her smile. Emily was so innocent, so sweet, and she always saw the world as a better place. When she smiled, the whole world smiled. I loved her dark brunette hair and her chocolate brown eyes that always seemed to see the better side in me.

"Snap out of it Alison" I thought to myself, you didn't love her, you were straight. But the kiss made me think differently. Emily's lips were so soft and perfect and they molded into mine like they were made for each other. I craved more of her but I was bad for her and Emily deserves better so I had to reject her.

I glanced over at Emily who seemed deep in thought and I smiled as I saw that she was wearing the bracelet I had given all of my friends. Maybe she felt the same about me. I know that she's had a few girlfriends but she never seemed to take much interest in me. In fact, whenever I touched her she just smiled and didn't touch me back. I wanted so badly for her to hold my hand or kiss me again. Maybe I shouldn't have told her the kisses were just for practice.

The kisses were definitely not just for practice but how could I tell her that when anyone could clearly see that Emily was sensitive and I had already rejected her.

Maybe I should just leave us as friends
