Evelyn walked into the interrogation room and took a seat opposite Peggy. It was routine for her to go into the interrogation room before any of the agents to assess someone's mental state.

"Agent Carter." Evelyn smiled and she instantly picked up the sphere that contained the vial of Steve's blood.

She noticed the way that Peggy tensed as if she was going to do something to the vial, but Evelyn nodded, silently telling the girl that she wouldn't do anything or even tell anyone what was inside.

"As you're probably aware, Dooley's stood behind the mirror." Evelyn pointed back to the double sided mirror. "With Sousa and Ivchenko."

"I gathered." Peggy nodded. "You don't have to do your assessment on me Bernie, I'm perfectly well." Peggy announced confidently.

Evelyn ran her hand over her face before lightly fiddling with her necklace. She knew Peggy had the right frame of mind to go through with the interrogation, but for legal reasons, she still had to do the assessment.

"I know, but it's a routine procedure, just a few questions." Evelyn announced. "If at any point you feel uncomfortable or want to take a break, just say and I'll go and fetch us a cup of coffee or a glass of water."

Peggy nodded understandingly. She appreciated that she saw Evelyn first, it brought her a bit of comfort knowing that she was so close and that more than likely, she would do everything she could to get justice for her.

"Is your name Margaret Elizabeth Carter?" Evelyn questioned.

She pulled the pen out from her bun, causing her hair to fall down to her shoulders. This was the only time she had to write anything down. She didn't enjoy doing it, so she normally handed the paper work to Sousa to file.

"It is." Peggy nodded, her thick English accent coming through.

"Born April 9th 1921?" Evelyn asked as she ticked 'yes', already knowing the answer. Peggy hummed in response. "And are you currently on any medication?

"Nope." Peggy responded, watching as Evelyn ticked the 'no' box.

"How do you feel your mental health in general is?" Evelyn asked softly.

She already knew all about Peggy. She knew that she carried a lot of guilt for the death of her brother and Steve. She knew that she suffered with PTSD, although it was extremely well controlled.

"Fine." Peggy responded, knowing that Evelyn knew everything about her already. If she wanted too, Evelyn could fill the form out within a minute and be done with the conversation.

"Have you ever sought any form of therapy other than what the SSR has provided for you?" Peggy shook her head in response, she wouldn't trust anyone other than Evelyn with her secrets. "Do you feel comfortable answering any questions from the agents that they may have?"

"I do." Peggy nodded in agreement.

Evelyn took a deep breath as she wrote a few things down. She looked back up at Peggy as she noticed she was on her final question. The assessment wasn't long, it was more for Evelyn to see how they react to different things, their tell signs when they lie or how uncomfortable they get in a situation. But she already knew all of that about Peggy.
