I wake up in bed hearing the desk phone ringing downstairs. I groan and turn over to William who was still sleeping. I roll my eyes and sit up. "William.." i shake him

"will.."

"Hm.?"

He opens his eyes a little bit.

"Yes darling?"

His voice was raspy and deep

"The phone is ringing.."

"okay? It may be someone that's not important.."

the ringing kept going. it was giving me a headache "please.." he sighs and sits up "okay come on." I nod and get out of bed with William. My body still sore but it didn't matter. We head downstairs where the phone was ringing. He grabs it and puts it to his ear "afton speaking.." he says his voice still raspy and deep. He looks at me and hands me the phone. "It's for you darling." I gave him a confused look. Maybe it's Henry? I took the phone and put it near my ear "hello?" I say "mija! Oh my you're okay! How are you??" "Pa? How did you get this number?" "I know everything n/n" (n/n =nick name) "still with that nickname Pa?" I laugh a bit "yes of course you're still my baby! Anyways was that your boyfriend who answered?" "Uhm that doesn't matter.. Pa, why did you call?" I hear him sigh over the phone "I need you back here. Please come back to texas." I was confused and looked at William with my eyes widen "but why? What happened??" "It's your mother.. she's been drinking. A lot." "But a week ago she said she was stopping?" "She lied." "What do you mean?" "She lied about stopping. She just can't stop and she's been getting so much worse." I sighed "I'll be there in a few days Pa.." "thank you." Then he hung up. I sighed again "what was that about?" "My father wants me back at texas.." "why?" "My mother.." he frowns and hugs me. I hug him tightly "she's drinking again.. she gotten worse. William please come with me." He smiles softly "I'll go anywhere with you my dear." I smiled "should we take the kids? It'll be like a vacation" he nods "whatever you want dear, whatever you want." He says bringing my hand to his lips and kissing it softly. I smiled and looked at a clock near by. 4 am.. "let's get back to bed hm?" I say he nods "yeah we have work today and I would rather get more sleep before we go." He chuckles. I nod in agreement. He grabs my hand and take us to our room. Of course he went asleep quickly. But I didn't. My past is just flooding all over me. William moved and cuddled me. At least I have some good..

In the morning

I didn't sleep I just got up and dressed for work. I walk to Williams side and shook him gently "wake up." He groans "5 more minutes.." I sighed "William we have wor—" he grabs my waist and pulls me in bed with him "William!" He groans again holding me tighter. I guess I have no choice. I get on top and slap him "OW" "wake the fuck up!" I shouted. I get off and dust my clothes. I get out his grasp and walk out the room. I see the kids at the kitchen ready for school "mama!" Evan says hugging me "how was sleep?" I smiled patting his head "it was great. And I have a surprise for you all" I say grinning booping his nose. Liz jumps up "ooooo! I love surprises!!" She runs up and hugs my leg "what is it??" She says exited. Michael gets up "you pregnant or something?" He says laughing. I felt my face heat up "HUH? No no definitely not!" I sighed and looked at them All "were going to texas!" The little ones gasped "a adventure?!" Liz yells happily, I nod "yes liz an adventure!" Evan had stars in his eyes "I wanna adventure!" I smiled. Michael raised an eyebrow "why?" I put my hand on his head and ruffled his hair "now go get ready you have 10 minutes" he smiles and runs off. Such sweet children. I felt Hans on my waist and pulled me close. "Good morning my love" I hear. I smiled and cup his cheek with one hand and lean my head back to his shoulder "good morning." I yawn. Closing my eyes. His warmth comforted me. Makes me calm. I smile.
