Karla's pov *A year later*
We're in mid April and I'm getting ready for school. I'm also in my third year of Uni now and I transferred to Seattle State University since it's in the city and I'm living with Aiden now.
I have a lot of classes today, Thursday.
When I wake up Aiden is already out of bed he's probably downstairs right now. I walk to our bathroom and take my shower.
I wipe my self and walk into my walk-in closet. I pick something cute to wear. Lately, I've been exploring my style and going out of my comfort zone.
I put on a cute little outfit then I put on some jewelry. I spray myself a little and remove my braids from the bonnet. I pick up my bag and head downstairs.

As usual when I go down Aiden is gone and I can't help but feel a little disappointed at this.
It's been a year since we got married and he can't even say hi. I change my thought to something else before I start sulking over he who is not worth it especially since today is a busy day.
I go over my project work once more before I turn it in, making sure everything is perfect.
Once I'm at ease I pack it into my bag along with my laptop and everything I would use. I grab a few snacks and put them in my bag as I walk outside to Aiden's chauffeur, Dave who patiently waits for me.
This has somehow become a routine, waking up at 5:40, not seeing Aiden, getting ready, eating breakfast and going to school.
When I get there I go to my first class of the day which was in 9 minutes.
A few classes later, then it's lunch break. I meet Tina at the coffee place on campus and we sit down and talk for a while. Her boyfriend Nate and his friend Devon later join us.
Tina and Nate are cute but sometimes it's ew. The two of them give each other googoo eyes leaving Devon and I to talk.
Devon is black. He's brown skinned almost light skinned. He keeps his hair in short brownish blondish shoulder length locks which are mostly in a half up half down style.
He is a lot of tall, 6'2 I think. He has a few tats and a brow piercing on his left brow. Plus, he has an amazing smile.
Devon is actually an amazing guy he's very funny and I like him as a friend ofcourse.
