| Being smart doesn't mean you know everything. |

It's almost past 12, and I'm crying again. I missed so many things in class. I don't know why I'm panicking about this, but I can't let myself get into an accident again.

They gave us two weeks to pass our project, not just in one subject but in four. I started procrastinating even though I still have so many days to do that.

I can't afford to waste time. I don't know what would happen next. 

The next day, it was a sunny Sunday. We don't have any class, but my mind is still focused on studying, but I can't seem to focus with Hia behind me.

"C'mon, Nhu, you can do that later." He whine. My hand gripped the volume of my phone and put it on maximum volume. I plug my wired earphones in, making sure that I won't hear any of his words.

"Nuna~" A deep gong voice approached me. He wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his head on my shoulder. "Nuna, I want your attention, please."

How can I move on with my feelings if he's this clingy? 

"Hia, let me finish this first." I almost stuttered saying that. "I've been waiting for an hour now. Look at your hand; it's red now. Aren't you tired?"

It doesn't feel like I'm with Hia. I feel like I'm sharing a room with a spoiled child.

I let go of my pen and turned around to look at him. "What do you want, Hia?" He grabbed my hand and took me outside. "Hia, where are we going? I'm just wearing pajamas." We continued walking until we reached the nearest phone shop.

I save up money to buy you a new one. Let's check the models first. I was stunned at his words. No way would I let this happen.

"Thank you so much, Hia, but I don't think I can accept it." His smile dropped and he turned to look at me again. "Why not?" 

"Spend them on yourself, not on me. I'll buy myself a new one if I have enough money, okay?" I was about to grab him outside, but he's too strong to move. 

"At least check the model first", he said. I have no choice but to do it.

I started checking the phone in front of me for its specs and camera. As soon as I held it, the battery went from 100% to 30. 

I quickly put it back in its place and dragged Hia outside. "Why? Did you not like it?" I stare at him, almost tearing up.

"Hia, I'm scared." Let's not go there again. He stared at me in confusion. I tried my best to explain everything, but I ended up blabbering nonsense.

"Nhu, calm down. Let's talk about it when we reach your house, okay?"

ZEE's

I think I get it now. I wrap my arm around his shoulder, calming him down. The shop is just near their house, so we reached it within 5 minutes of walking. 

"So what happened?" I asked as if I was clueless. He took a deep breath and started explaining everything in detail.

I nod, understanding what he's saying. I felt so bad for doing nothing. 

Time passed, and all I did was calm Nunew down. I help him get distracted from his thoughts by helping him with his project. and giving him sweets. 

"Nhu, I'll get going now. Don't think about it too much. I'll give you a visit tomorrow, hmm?" He nodded and walked me to their door, waving goodbye as we parted from each other.

I want to help him, but I don't know how. There are so many what-ifs in my head.

NUNEW's

I finished my last project and quickly called our group chat. Yim is busy, but luckily James answered.

"You called first. What happened? He asked while playing with filters."

James, remember the guy that I'm talking about? James smiled, almost reaching his ears. "Oh, yes, him. Don't worry, I already know him." My eyes widened. 

"What? How? "

He's a friend of Net's. They are working on their project with their friend Mark. I think it's Zee's idea? I'm not really sure, but they have been working on it for the last two years and still failed.

Curiosity suddenly hit me. He's working on a project, yet he will still have time for me. A blush appeared in my cheeks as I held myself from smiling.

"What's the project about?"

"I don't know, but he said it was a love battery or something. I'm not really interested in it."
